Mili Dueli 2019: Organization of The Fifth Round (Grand Final)!

The main feature of Mili Dueli was always the FREE APPLICATION sent from the comfort of their home, which is a great convenience given the fast pace of life and the presence of social networks in them. This is a kind of opportunity to meet new people in the world of poetry and to give poetry, as our common sphere, greater importance than other days of the year.

FIFTH ROUND ORGANIZATION – THE GREAT FINALS

The fifth round of Mili Dueli 2019 consists of only 1 group (finalists):
Authors mentored by: ANĐELA TURUKALO (10), DANJA GAŠPAR ĐOKIĆ (2), NERMIN DELIĆ (9), LELA ZJAJO (1), ENEA HOTIĆ (1), ZDRAVKO ODORČIĆ (1)

* The final group is made out of 24 authors.

The mentors were active since 13.9 to 20.9. In 2019, they were available to their authors for any consultation on poem selection and correction. Consultation with the mentor is optional. You can submit your poem without consulting your mentor before 20.9. 2019, when the deadline for submitting poems is.

After that date, as in the first three rounds, the organizer will create voting forms for the members of the jury.

The start date of Round 5 is September 23, 2019, when participants will be featured on the social network!

The fifth round lasts until September 26, 2019, after which the organizer will process the jury’s votes in the coming days and then announce the results.

VOTE IN THE FIFTH ROUND

I. Mentoring Jury Votes:

In the Grand Final, in the web-based poll system (where the poems and voting rules are presented to them), all members of the mentoring jury (7 of them) will give Eurovision credits to the poems, by the following principle:
A) 12 points (1 author)
B )  10 points (1 author)
C) 8 points (1 author)
D) 7 points (2 authors)
E) 6 points (2 authors)
F) 5 points (2 authors)
G) 4 points (2 authors)
H) 3 points (2 authors)
I) 2 points (2 authors)

* In each semifinal, each of a total of 4 members of the mentoring jury awarded votes in this order. One member of the mentoring jury awarded a total of 86 points and seven of them awarded 602 points.
Members of the mentoring jury are: Andjela Turukalo (MNE), Enea Hotic (BIH), Lela Zjajo(GER), Simo Golubovic (SRB), Danja Gaspar Djokic (BIH), Joze Brencic (SLO) and Zdravko Odorcic (CRO). It is a team of authors composed of the organizers of the competition, winners of previous seasons, and artists engaged in poetry for decades

II. Organizer vote:

In the Grand Final, in the web-based poll system, the organizer votes and awards his 760 points (50% of all total votes). And he gives the Eurovision Scores on the same principle as the members of the mentoring jury.
He credits his points in 3 categories:
1. POEM OF THE GRAND FINAL – In this category, they will give points ONLY based on the final poem with which the author presents himself.
2. VIDEO RECITATION – A standard category in which authors will be awarded points based on their video presentation.
2. GENERAL IMPACT – In this category, the organizer takes into account all the poems of the authors so far, their responses to the interview and the way they presented themselves, and the communication of their mentors and him spent with them. In this category, the highest number of votes will be given to the one that is the most complete and original. The organizer shall award 430 points in each category, therefore, a total of 1290 points (50% of all votes).

III. Readers vote:

In this round, readers will VOTE and assign points to 2 categories:
1. VIBER VOTES: Readers vote over one of the most famous mobile apps in the world – Viber. They can vote for one, two, or a maximum of 5 authors. They cannot vote for one author multiple times. They vote by entering the author’s serial number and sending a Viber message to their phone number:

Voting begins on Monday, September 23 at 12: 00h and ends on Thursday, September 26 at 12: 00h! All votes before or after this period will not be counted. Voting is FREE!

2. FACEBOOK VOTES: Readers also vote through Facebook, where video recitations (videos) of the final poems will be featured on the official organizer profile, which you can see HERE. Readers vote with LIKE and can vote for one or all authors. In order for a Like vote to be valid, you must either follow the profile or befriend it.
Likes will be paired with video views, and a Facebook polling section will be obtained.

When the first video is uploaded, votes are starting to count. The organizer will mark the end of the voting on their profile, where the videos are posted.

IV. Voting of the guest jury members:

Voting of the Jury members refers to the voting of the authors or the finalists of the project in the previous seasons, who will be invited by the organizer to give their votes. These include winners of earlier seasons who are not permanent members of the jury (mentors). The voting groups are designed regionally and it applies to all areas of speech where the languages ​​of the peoples of the former Yugoslavia are understood.
The votes are divided into 6 categories:

* This category is not yet official, as the Diaspora Jury does not understand the spoken language of the former Yugoslavia. If voted on, the jury will take into account the ARTISTIC impression of the videos of our authors, as well as the potential skill of conveying emotions by reciting text that these members do not understand.

In all 6 categories, the jury votes with the Eurovision points, and after summing them up, Eurovision points are awarded for each category:

V. Voting of participants:

Participants in the semifinals will have the opportunity to give their judgment. They vote only for the name of one or more of them who they consider deserving of victory. The votes are summed up and the authors rank, and on the basis of their placements they are translated into Eurovision points according to the following principle:

The winner is the author who wins the most points in the overall ranking.

Prizes: Main prize: Plaque + Laureate “Mili Dueli” (“Poet of the region by the choice of Mili Dueli 2019”) – for 1st place Other awards: Plaque for 2nd and 3rd place, Best placement of the state (BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria), Best placement of the diaspora (Balic’s recognition). Special recognition: Al Buqain Award (plaque + medal) – for the person who, during the course of the season, most distinguished himself in promoting the international cooperation of writers through the media in accordance with the mission of the Mili Dueli Project. Each author who is selected for participation in Mili Dueli receives electronic and / or printed. (depending on participation in the proceedings and coming to the promotion) acknowledgment for cooperation, literary contribution of placing the written word through social networks, and encouraging the development of literary criticism in this area during 2019. year. Note: An electronic collection of poetry by the author and literary criticism of the jury will be published this season for their works.
