Nakon prijava i preselekcije Organizatora, među prijavljenim mladim pjesnicima odabrano je TOP 50 autora koji su se plasirali u Drugi krug. Njihov naredni zadatak bio je izboriti mjesto među TOP 20, čime su započeli put prema završnici prvih Juniorskih Milih Duela.

Tokom mjesec dana imali smo priliku čitati njihove pjesme na zvaničnoj Facebook stranici Milih Duela. Za razliku od glavne kategorije, u kojoj su autori bili raspoređeni u nacionalne duele, svih 50 juniora takmičilo se zajedno, bez obzira na zemlju iz koje dolaze. Time je svakom mladom autoru omogućeno da se ravnopravno predstavi pred međunarodnom publikom i da njegova pjesma bude čitana izvan granica vlastite zemlje.

O njihovom plasmanu odlučivali su petočlani internacionalni književni žiri i čitaoci Milih Duela, koji su svoje glasove davali putem anketa objavljenih na zvaničnoj Facebook stranici.

Drugi krug tako nije bio samo selekcija najboljih pjesama. Bio je to prvi veliki susret ove generacije mladih pjesnika sa svijetom izvan njihovih svakodnevnih granica. U mjesec dana, njihovi stihovi putovali su između 17 zemalja, susretali različite jezike, kulture i iskustva i dolazili do čitalaca koji ih prije ovog takmičenja vjerovatno nikada ne bi imali priliku upoznati.

Sada je pred nama novi korak: od TOP 50 biramo TOP 20 mladih autora koji nastavljaju svoje putovanje kroz prve Juniorske Mili Duele.

IZVJEŠTAJ ORGANIZATORA NAKON DRUGOG KRUGA MILIH DUELA JUNIOR

Prva generacija, prvi stihovi, prvi veliki korak

Dragi mladi pjesnici, roditelji, staratelji, prijatelji i svi koji ste proteklih mjesec dana čitali poeziju naših najmlađih autora,

Drugi krug Milih Duela Junior je završen.

Od 24. jula do 24. avgusta 2026. godine imali smo priliku pratiti prvu generaciju mladih pjesnika koji su postali dio ovog, po mnogo čemu posebnog, projekta. TOP 50 autora iz 17 zemalja svijeta dobilo je priliku da svoju poeziju predstavi međunarodnoj publici i napravi prvi veliki korak izvan granica vlastitog jezika, grada i zemlje.

Ovo nije samo nova kategorija Milih Duela.

Ovo je prva sezona Milih Duela Junior.

I vjerujem da smo svjedočili početku nečega što može trajati mnogo duže od jednog takmičenja.

SMOTRA POEZIJE KOJA JE PREŠLA GRANICE

Mili Dueli Junior zamišljeni su kao platforma za mlade ljude koji još uvijek grade svoj književni glas.

Autori rođeni 2006. godine i mlađi dobili su prostor da javno kažu ono što možda u svakodnevnom životu ne znaju, ne mogu ili nemaju kome reći.

A upravo tu poezija počinje.

Poezija je često prvo mjesto na kojem mlad čovjek smije biti potpuno iskren.

U stihu može reći da se boji.

Da voli.

Da je usamljen.

Da je sretan.

Da ne razumije svijet.

Da ga želi promijeniti.

I upravo zato smatram da mladim ljudima ne trebamo govoriti samo šta da misle, nego im moramo dati prostor da pokažu kako osjećaju.

Mili Dueli Junior nastali su iz te ideje.

I mogu reći da sam izuzetno ponosan na ono što smo zajedno napravili u ovoj prvoj sezoni.

Ovo je bila fantastična smotra poezije najmlađih autora, ali i projekat koji je, prema mom saznanju, na Balkanu još uvijek gotovo jedinstven po svojoj međunarodnoj širini, organizaciji i načinu prezentacije.

U komunikaciji sa učesnicima koristili smo više jezika.

Pjesme su predstavljane međunarodnoj publici.

Mladi autori iz različitih zemalja našli su se u istom prostoru.

A sve je to organizovano iz jednog malog grada – Jajca.

To mi je posebno važno.

Jer velike ideje ne moraju nužno nastati u velikim gradovima.

Ponekad je dovoljno da neko dovoljno dugo vjeruje u njih.

VIŠE OD 100 000 ČITANJA U PRVOM DANU

A onda se dogodilo nešto što nam je svima pokazalo da je publika prepoznala vrijednost ovog projekta.

Poezija naših juniora u prvom danu predstavljanja pročitana je više od 100 000 puta.

U vremenu u kojem poezija često mora da se bori za nekoliko sekundi nečije pažnje, ovo je izvanredan rezultat.

Ali meni taj broj nije važan samo kao statistika.

Iza 100 000 čitanja stoji 100 000 trenutaka u kojima je neko zastao.

Neko je otvorio pjesmu.

Neko je pročitao tuđu misao.

Neko je možda prvi put pročitao pjesmu mladog autora iz zemlje za koju ranije nije ni znao gdje se nalazi.

I možda je upravo to najveća pobjeda.

Jer književnost ne mora uvijek promijeniti svijet odjednom.

Ponekad je dovoljno da promijeni jednog čitaoca u jednom trenutku.

HVALA ONIMA KOJI SU STALI IZA NJIH

Posebno želim zahvaliti čitaocima koji su glasali, ali i roditeljima, starateljima, prijateljima i porodicama naših mladih autora.

Njihov angažman bio je izuzetno velik.

Mnogi su neumorno dijelili pjesme, pozivali ljude da čitaju, razgovarali o poeziji i podržavali mlade autore.

A to nije mala stvar.

Iza jednog mladog pjesnika često stoji cijela mala vojska ljudi koji vjeruju u njega.

Majka koja dijeli njegovu pjesmu.

Otac koji poziva prijatelje.

Staratelj koji mu pomaže.

Prijatelj koji prvi put čita njegove stihove.

I sam mladi autor koji, možda po prvi put u životu, javno kaže:

„Ovo sam napisao ja. Ovo je dio mene. Pročitajte.“

Takvu hrabrost treba podržati.

Zbog izuzetnog angažmana čitalaca odlučio sam da njihov glas ima još veću težinu u završetku ovog kruga.

Prema prvobitnom planu, 10 autora trebalo je izboriti direktan plasman dalje.

Međutim, zbog izuzetne podrške publike odlučio sam da taj broj povećamo i da, umjesto deset, 12 autora pošaljemo dalje odlukom čitalaca.

To je bio moj način da kažem:

vidjeli smo vaš trud.

Vidjeli smo trud mladih autora.

Vidjeli smo trud roditelja.

Vidjeli smo trud prijatelja i staratelja.

I vidjeli smo da vam je stalo.

Zato vam – svima zajedno – hvala.

REZULTAT NIJE PRESUDA O TALENTU

Želim posebno nešto objasniti mladim autorima.

Ako ste završili prvi, drugi, peti ili dvadeseti, nemojte taj broj pretvarati u sliku o sebi.

Plasman nije mjera vaše vrijednosti kao pjesnika.

Prvo mjesto znači da je pjesma koju ste poslali u ovom krugu, prema mišljenju žirija ili prema rezultatima glasanja publike, dobila najveći broj bodova.

Ne znači da ste vi „najbolji autor“.

Jer niko ne može izmjeriti cijelog pjesnika jednom pjesmom.

Možda pjesma koja je danas završila na posljednjem mjestu sutra bude početak nečega velikog.

Možda će neko od vas za deset godina napisati pjesmu koja će vrijediti više od svih plasmana koje ste ikada osvojili.

Zato nemojte čuvati samo pobjedu.

Čuvajte i poraz.

I jedno i drugo može biti učitelj.

A posebno želim da zapamtite:

nemojte prestati pisati samo zato što vas neko nije dovoljno dobro ocijenio.

Pjesnik koji zavisi od tuđeg mišljenja nikada neće do kraja pronaći vlastiti glas.

ŠTA NAS ČEKA?

Pred nama je naredni krug.

Dvadesetdva autora koja su preostala očekuje mnogo umjetničkog uzbuđenja.

A mi, kao njihova podrška, spremni smo ponovo čitati njihove stihove, upoznavati njihov talenat i pomagati im da svoj glas razvijaju.

Naredni krug nosi ime:

RAST

Ali RAST neće biti klasični mentorski krug.

Bit će to nešto drugačije.

Ne želimo mladim autorima nametati kalupe odrasle književnosti.

Ne želimo od njih praviti „male odrasle pjesnike“.

Želimo vidjeti šta oni jesu.

Šta osjećaju.

Kako pišu.

Kako razmišljaju.

I koliko mogu narasti kada im se pruži prostor.

Zato će ovaj krug biti posebno osmišljen i podređen upravo njihovim talentima.

Jer dijete ne treba samo učiti kako da postane neko drugi.

Treba mu pomoći da otkrije ko je ono samo.

ŠTA ŽELIMO DA POSTANU MILI DUELI JUNIOR?

Možda je prerano govoriti o tome.

Ali ipak ću reći.

Volio bih da Mili Dueli Junior već u svojoj prvoj sezoni počnu graditi reputaciju međunarodnog priznanja za mlade pjesnike.

Ne samo na Balkanu.

Nego širom svijeta.

Već sada imamo mlade autore iz 17 zemalja.

To znači da ideja nije lokalna.

Ona je od početka međunarodna.

A naš cilj nije samo da jednom godišnje napravimo listu najboljih mladih pjesnika.

Želimo stvoriti zajednicu.

Mjesto na kojem će mladi ljudi iz različitih kultura moći upoznati jedni druge kroz književnost.

Mjesto na kojem će se mladi pjesnik iz Bosne susresti sa mladim pjesnikom iz druge zemlje.

Mjesto na kojem neće biti važno ko govori kojim jezikom, iz koje porodice dolazi ili koliko ima godina.

Važno će biti ono što želi reći.

Možda će neki od ovih 50 autora jednog dana biti veliki pjesnici.

Možda neki neće nastaviti pisati.

I jedno i drugo je u redu.

Jer svrha ovog projekta nije da od svakog djeteta napravimo književnika.

Naša svrha je da mu damo priliku da bude saslušan.

PRVA GENERACIJA NEČEGA ŠTO TEK POČINJE

Jednog dana, ako Mili Dueli Junior postanu ono čemu se nadamo, možda ćemo gledati neku novu generaciju mladih pjesnika i govoriti:

„Oni su bili prva generacija.“

A tada ćemo se možda sjetiti ovog ljeta.

I shvatiti da velike književne priče često ne počinju velikim događajem.

Počinju jednom pjesmom koju neko mlad napiše u svojoj sobi.

Jednim klikom kojim je pošalje.

Jednim čitaocem koji je pročita.

Jednim glasom koji kaže:

„Vrijedi.“

Zato vam hvala što ste odlučili da budete dio prve sezone.

Hvala mladim autorima na hrabrosti.

Hvala roditeljima i starateljima na podršci.

Hvala prijateljima koji su dijelili pjesme.

Hvala čitaocima koji su glasali.

Hvala članovima žirija koji su pažljivo čitali.

I hvala svima koji su u ovom projektu prepoznali ono što pokušavamo napraviti:

svijet u kojem će mladi ljudi prvo upoznati jedni druge kroz riječi, a tek onda kroz razlike.

Prvi krug je završen.

Drugi također.

Ali priča tek počinje u Trećem krugu.

Objava Mili Dueli Junior 2025/26 – Rezultati Drugog kruga (TOP 50) pojavila se prvi puta na Mili Dueli.

The contest is traditionally composed of 5 elimination rounds. In each round, the number of authors decreases, and in the last, Fifth round, the winner is decided by a voting system based on the Eurovision Song Contest scoring system. The main responsible person of the contest is Nermin Delić, the idea creator and organizer of the contest. For 8 years in a row, Mili Dueli have been gathering authors and spreading the influence of poetry in everyday life.

Briefly about the First Round: The selection of all received applications (739) was performed by Nermin Delić. The organizer selected 476 authors for presentation in the Second Round.

Briefly about the Second Round: After the selection in the First Round by the organizer of the contest, Nermin Delić, 476 authors were selected and presented in the Second Round. In the Second Round, the authors are classified in 12 duels, according to the countries they come from. Due to the number of participants, Bosnia and Herzegovina had 2 duels (DUEL 1, DUEL 2), and Serbia 3 (DUEL 3, DUEL 4, DUEL 5). Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bulgaria had one duel each (DUEL 6, DUEL 7, DUEL 8, DUEL 9). Due to the small number of participants, authors from Albania, Greece, Kosovo, Romania and Slovenia were presented in one duel (DUEL 10). Poets with Balkan roots, but with current residence outside the Balkans, are grouped together in one duel (DUEL 11). In the end, all authors coming from non-Balkan countries are grouped into one duel (DUEL 12).

The beginning of the presentation of the duel on the official Facebook profile of Mili Dueli was on July 12, 2020. Duels are presented in order, every 2-3 or 4 days according to the scope of the duel. For the first 15 days from the presentation of the duel, the followers of Mili Dueli were able to vote in the comments by entering the author’s number below the picture where her/his poem is presented. In addition to the readers, the members of the jury, composed of 12 renowned and important for Mili Duel artists from the Balkans, also voted. They selected 90% of the authors to pass to the Third Round. The other 10% is intended for the votes of the readers, for those who were not selected by the jury, and who have the great support of their friends and companions Mili Dueli.

Briefly about the Third Round: In the third round, the selection of the best authors continued and only the TOP 100 best authors had the opportunity to continue.

Briefly about the Fourth Round: The fourth round is brought by the TOP 50 best authors who pass to the final, fifth round. It is composed of a total of 16 duels.

RESULTS

First of all, an important announcement … In the fourth round, we were looking for the 50 best authors according to the procedure established by the organization of the competition. Looking at the results, as the Organizer, I realized that in certain duels, the authors were much more dominant, and that surely many more authors deserved to pass, at least according to the presentation in the semifinals. For that purpose, I decided that the number of authors who go directly further should be 36, and that a total of 34 authors should fight for the remaining 14 places. All those authors who did not go directly further will equally send the poem for the finals, but only 14 of them will be presented, based on the quality of the submitted poem and the accompanying video material that traditionally adorns our Finals. WHAT’S NEXT? (PREPARATION FOR THE FINALS)

DARK BLUE. Authors who entered the TOP 50 directly! These authors are officially the finalists of this season, therefore, participants in the last round of Mili DuelI 2020/21. From this moment on, they need to contact their mentors and start preparing the poem for the Finals. All details related to the preparation and sending of the poem for the Finals will be received in a private message in the inbox. Please be patient!

LIGHT BLUE. – Authors who has chance to participate in the finals, the last round of Mili Duels 2020/21. These are authors who did not go directly to the final round, but due to the fantastic performance in the semifinals, the Organizer decided to give a new opportunity to promote their poetry. There are a total of 34 of them in such a situation, and 14 of them will be participants in the Finals. The decision will be made by the Organizer based on their application for the Finals. From this point on, they can also contact their mentors and start preparing a poem for the Finals.

TOP 100 – Authors who remained in the TOP 100 and did not make it to the Mili Dueli 2020 Finals. Their contribution to the spread of the project and poetry will be rewarded by receiving electronic recognition for their participation as they represented their countries in a bright light (TOP 100 from 739 registered !!!), and will accordingly receive recognition for the intercultural dialogue of the Balkan countries and the countries of the world in which they participated.

All the presented poems will be represented in a electronic collection which, apparently, will have its own printed edition (summer, 2021), when MILI DUELI BALKAN TOUR awaits us. More on that soon!

Also, all authors who are 2000 or younger will be presented at the MILI DUEL JUNIOR ONLINE POETRY CONTEST which will start a few days after the end of the eighth season of Mili Duels 2020 – Online Balkan Poetry Contest!

Dear friends,

First of all, thank you for showing the greatest sense of loyalty to the whole project this season. The Corona-year prolonged the contest itself, and at the same time some of my private achievements happened (I finished university and started working), so the time spent on the project was reduced to a certain extent. Either way, our play through poetry continued, and so in these wonderful summer days we had the opportunity to read the 100 most representative authors we had so carefully selected.

In this, the fourth and at the same time penultimate round, we had the opportunity to enjoy the poetry of all Balkan countries, but also many countries around the world. Somewhere it turned out to be good that there was longer voting time than in previous seasons. Looking at the number of views of all the semi-final poems, with 328,492 views on Facebook, my mission was already fulfilled. Looking at the countries that read us, I could not stop, if I started to list … Almost 330,000 times we entered the everyday life of people on social media with poetry… I noticed at the beginning that there were two camps among the authors; one who enthusiastically welcomed the publication of their poem and those who did not promote their poetry even to their friends. The former shared the same with their friends, because for the first time, somewhere in our region, people can vote for poetry; for the first time it was important to point out that you have passed the selection of 739 authors and you are one step closer to the end, exclusively with your poetry. Because this was not an invitation to like the conquest of handbags, irons, shelves, etc., this was an invitation to the world of poetry in which each of these 100 great authors lives!. But probably everyone had their reasons for being one and not the other, and from that point of view it certainly can’t be a complaint. I rewarded some of the poems, even though they had poor readability, because they are masterful in themselves!

Just led by a mass of people who wrote me every day who they were voting for, shared your poems so beautifully and decorated their Facebook walls, I didn’t want to conflict my opinion with the opinion of the masses. But points always say it all. So in this case. I started to comment and went in order, all in order to write as good and clear comments as possible, WHY such points. But then I finally realized that in most cases the same mistake, the same comment, was written only in different words.

Therefore, I decided to point out in general the following …

When submitting a poem, to any contest, anywhere, even where you are already sure that the poem will be published, awarded, or generally given some recognition, please take note of the following:

1. LITERACY. There were so many mistakes that turned me away from some nice emotions I felt while reading your poems. If you’re a writer, that doesn’t mean you have to be computer-wise and orthographically perfect, but if you’re sending a poem somewhere, to someone, let it be viewed with other eyes as well; maybe someone who knows maybe less than you will know something more about certain things. It is this item that is crucial in depriving the spirit of amateurism that a writer can carry within himself. Four-dot in poems, spaces several times, unnecessary punctuation marks in the wrong places; all of which violates the RHYTHM and AESTHETIC VALUES and, ultimately, the GENERAL IMPRESSION of the poem. If you make me take a break in the wrong place with a comma, that thread that runs the poem will break, and I will remain confused. I have to admit that these mistakes were greatly reduced, as a team of mentors worked with the authors, but there were authors who submitted their poems without a mentor and where such mistakes were noticed.
2. WORK WITH A MENTOR. This item may be crucial, as it involves collaboration on the selection and / or correction of a semi-final poem. It’s not just a conversation about a poem, it’s a conversation of two cultures, often two peoples, and you were representatives of your own. The basis of any peace is acquaintance, cooperation and compromise.
   We did not take it as evil if an author, in the words of his mentor, still insisted on being “according to him”, but it is a completely wrong form not to respect the form of the contest that requires cooperation, therefore, not to contact his mentor at all, not to greet him.
   My impression is certainly complemented by the opinion of my colleagues, members of the jury, and your mentors, and in this regard we are looking for a person who will be a part of us in the next season of the contest.
3. OPINION OF READERS / YOUR FRIENDS. We should never primarily be guided by the number of likes and reviews that one author has achieved on the social network, because then the competition part would mean a struggle for numbers, and not for the quality of the poem. However, I am of the opinion that on this occasion as well, through the number of votes cast, you showed two things; first – how much you actually care about going through; the second – how much support you can actually collect for your poetry. I note that for the first time it is a vote for poetry, where free votes decide who will be the winner. In this regard, I rewarded all the authors who heartily presented their poem.
4. POETIC VALUE OF THE TEXT. Many of the texts in the verse that are sent are often not clarified as poetry, so it was necessary to point out to the authors what is poetic and what is not in their poems. Judging subjectively, the original metaphors and comparisons are something I admired the most, because they impress the most. The most common example I give to everyone is this: if it was written IT WAS COLD it has less poetic value than IT WAS ICE, where in the same sense, a metaphor is introduced. If someone writes IT WAS WHITE LIKE SNOW, which is expected, clichéd and outdated, it will certainly be less impressive than IT WAS WHITE LIKE A NEEDLE HOUSE.
   When it comes to rhyming poems, rhymes should not be surpassed and expected. Here, too, the use of new poetic words and their skillfully found rhymes was appreciated. Of course, no one should invent hot water, but every step out of everyday life was considered a success.
5. AESTHETIC VALUE OF THE TEXT. Applications submitted for the semifinals were to be complete. Any answer to the questions related to the biography and the general impression of the author about the contest was evaluated. Also, the poem itself was supposed to be completely computer-correct. It is extremely unnecessary to point out grammatical / spelling mistakes to someone in this round of the competition, because every such mistake is a sign of the author’s lack of dedication to the text and work with a mentor.
6. GENERAL IMPRESSION. The authors have sent poems in the previous three rounds, too. It is also, a significant factor that influenced the distribution of my points.

“Anne Thrope… This is one very vivid poem. It has some strong energy and I like Anne’s unique expression. I do believe that the ‘shape’ of the poem (or it’s form) could be more precise and more arranged, but nevertheless- I find this very well done.

Thiago Resende Soares… I appreciate the way how the three ideas are connected and intertwined. Yet, since the “Time” and “Death” are mentioned less times than “Love”, I do feel like the “Love” is too repetitive (the word itself). Also, I feel like there’s too much of explanations and not enough of depth in the expression. Yet, the poem brings a message clearly. So, I’m satisfied with this.”

Lela Zjajo from Germany said this: “There is and there is no expected poetry. I wish I had stayed thrilled but a lot is missing from these poems that would get my attention or a return to re-reading. I read and realized that these two poems left no trace in my soul. I am an irrevocable supporter of emotion and readable poetry, clarity, even if it was written in the simplest terms. The soul is missing here, the fluttering poetics is missing. Brutal everyday life leaves traces in these written verses. I’m sorry for my rudeness maybe, but the Finals need something much stronger, more meaningful, more energetic …”

Due to the small number of participants, authors from Albania, Greece, Kosovo, Romania and Slovenia were presented in one duel (DUEL 10). Poets with Balkan roots, but with current residence outside the Balkans, are grouped together in one duel (DUEL 11). In the end, all authors coming from non-Balkan countries are grouped into one duel (DUEL 12).

The beginning of the presentation of the duel on the official Facebook profile of Mili Dueli was on July 12, 2020. Duels are presented in order, every 2-3 or 4 days according to the scope of the duel. For the first 15 days from the presentation of the duel, the followers of Mili Dueli were able to vote in the comments by entering the author’s number below the picture where her/his poem is presented. In addition to the readers, the members of the jury, composed of 12 renowned and important for Mili Duel artists from the Balkans, also voted. They selected 90% of the authors to pass to the Third Round. The other 10% is intended for the votes of the readers, for those who were not selected by the jury, and who have the great support of their friends and companions Mili Dueli.

Briefly about the Third Round: In the third round, the selection of the best authors continued and only the TOP 100 best authors had the opportunity to continue.

Briefly about the Fourth Round: The fourth round is brought by the TOP 50 best authors who pass to the final, fifth round. It is composed of a total of 16 duels.

RESULTS

First of all, an important announcement … In the fourth round, we were looking for the 50 best authors according to the procedure established by the organization of the competition. Looking at the results, as the Organizer, I realized that in certain duels, the authors were much more dominant, and that surely many more authors deserved to pass, at least according to the presentation in the semifinals. For that purpose, I decided that the number of authors who go directly further should be 36, and that a total of 34 authors should fight for the remaining 14 places. All those authors who did not go directly further will equally send the poem for the finals, but only 14 of them will be presented, based on the quality of the submitted poem and the accompanying video material that traditionally adorns our Finals. WHAT’S NEXT? (PREPARATION FOR THE FINALS)

DARK BLUE. Authors who entered the TOP 50 directly! These authors are officially the finalists of this season, therefore, participants in the last round of Mili DuelI 2020/21. From this moment on, they need to contact their mentors and start preparing the poem for the Finals. All details related to the preparation and sending of the poem for the Finals will be received in a private message in the inbox. Please be patient!

LIGHT BLUE. – Authors who has chance to participate in the finals, the last round of Mili Duels 2020/21. These are authors who did not go directly to the final round, but due to the fantastic performance in the semifinals, the Organizer decided to give a new opportunity to promote their poetry. There are a total of 34 of them in such a situation, and 14 of them will be participants in the Finals. The decision will be made by the Organizer based on their application for the Finals. From this point on, they can also contact their mentors and start preparing a poem for the Finals.

TOP 100 – Authors who remained in the TOP 100 and did not make it to the Mili Dueli 2020 Finals. Their contribution to the spread of the project and poetry will be rewarded by receiving electronic recognition for their participation as they represented their countries in a bright light (TOP 100 from 739 registered !!!), and will accordingly receive recognition for the intercultural dialogue of the Balkan countries and the countries of the world in which they participated.

All the presented poems will be represented in a electronic collection which, apparently, will have its own printed edition (summer, 2021), when MILI DUELI BALKAN TOUR awaits us. More on that soon!

Also, all authors who are 2000 or younger will be presented at the MILI DUEL JUNIOR ONLINE POETRY CONTEST which will start a few days after the end of the eighth season of Mili Duels 2020 – Online Balkan Poetry Contest!

Organizer: NERMIN DELIĆ

Dear friends,

First of all, thank you for showing the greatest sense of loyalty to the whole project this season. The Corona-year prolonged the contest itself, and at the same time some of my private achievements happened (I finished university and started working), so the time spent on the project was reduced to a certain extent. Either way, our play through poetry continued, and so in these wonderful summer days we had the opportunity to read the 100 most representative authors we had so carefully selected.

In this, the fourth and at the same time penultimate round, we had the opportunity to enjoy the poetry of all Balkan countries, but also many countries around the world. Somewhere it turned out to be good that there was longer voting time than in previous seasons. Looking at the number of views of all the semi-final poems, with 328,492 views on Facebook, my mission was already fulfilled. Looking at the countries that read us, I could not stop, if I started to list … Almost 330,000 times we entered the everyday life of people on social media with poetry… I noticed at the beginning that there were two camps among the authors; one who enthusiastically welcomed the publication of their poem and those who did not promote their poetry even to their friends. The former shared the same with their friends, because for the first time, somewhere in our region, people can vote for poetry; for the first time it was important to point out that you have passed the selection of 739 authors and you are one step closer to the end, exclusively with your poetry. Because this was not an invitation to like the conquest of handbags, irons, shelves, etc., this was an invitation to the world of poetry in which each of these 100 great authors lives!. But probably everyone had their reasons for being one and not the other, and from that point of view it certainly can’t be a complaint. I rewarded some of the poems, even though they had poor readability, because they are masterful in themselves!

Just led by a mass of people who wrote me every day who they were voting for, shared your poems so beautifully and decorated their Facebook walls, I didn’t want to conflict my opinion with the opinion of the masses. But points always say it all. So in this case. I started to comment and went in order, all in order to write as good and clear comments as possible, WHY such points. But then I finally realized that in most cases the same mistake, the same comment, was written only in different words.

Therefore, I decided to point out in general the following …

When submitting a poem, to any contest, anywhere, even where you are already sure that the poem will be published, awarded, or generally given some recognition, please take note of the following:

1. LITERACY. There were so many mistakes that turned me away from some nice emotions I felt while reading your poems. If you’re a writer, that doesn’t mean you have to be computer-wise and orthographically perfect, but if you’re sending a poem somewhere, to someone, let it be viewed with other eyes as well; maybe someone who knows maybe less than you will know something more about certain things. It is this item that is crucial in depriving the spirit of amateurism that a writer can carry within himself. Four-dot in poems, spaces several times, unnecessary punctuation marks in the wrong places; all of which violates the RHYTHM and AESTHETIC VALUES and, ultimately, the GENERAL IMPRESSION of the poem. If you make me take a break in the wrong place with a comma, that thread that runs the poem will break, and I will remain confused. I have to admit that these mistakes were greatly reduced, as a team of mentors worked with the authors, but there were authors who submitted their poems without a mentor and where such mistakes were noticed.
2. WORK WITH A MENTOR. This item may be crucial, as it involves collaboration on the selection and / or correction of a semi-final poem. It’s not just a conversation about a poem, it’s a conversation of two cultures, often two peoples, and you were representatives of your own. The basis of any peace is acquaintance, cooperation and compromise.
   We did not take it as evil if an author, in the words of his mentor, still insisted on being “according to him”, but it is a completely wrong form not to respect the form of the contest that requires cooperation, therefore, not to contact his mentor at all, not to greet him.
   My impression is certainly complemented by the opinion of my colleagues, members of the jury, and your mentors, and in this regard we are looking for a person who will be a part of us in the next season of the contest.
3. OPINION OF READERS / YOUR FRIENDS. We should never primarily be guided by the number of likes and reviews that one author has achieved on the social network, because then the competition part would mean a struggle for numbers, and not for the quality of the poem. However, I am of the opinion that on this occasion as well, through the number of votes cast, you showed two things; first – how much you actually care about going through; the second – how much support you can actually collect for your poetry. I note that for the first time it is a vote for poetry, where free votes decide who will be the winner. In this regard, I rewarded all the authors who heartily presented their poem.
4. POETIC VALUE OF THE TEXT. Many of the texts in the verse that are sent are often not clarified as poetry, so it was necessary to point out to the authors what is poetic and what is not in their poems. Judging subjectively, the original metaphors and comparisons are something I admired the most, because they impress the most. The most common example I give to everyone is this: if it was written IT WAS COLD it has less poetic value than IT WAS ICE, where in the same sense, a metaphor is introduced. If someone writes IT WAS WHITE LIKE SNOW, which is expected, clichéd and outdated, it will certainly be less impressive than IT WAS WHITE LIKE A NEEDLE HOUSE.
   When it comes to rhyming poems, rhymes should not be surpassed and expected. Here, too, the use of new poetic words and their skillfully found rhymes was appreciated. Of course, no one should invent hot water, but every step out of everyday life was considered a success.
5. AESTHETIC VALUE OF THE TEXT. Applications submitted for the semifinals were to be complete. Any answer to the questions related to the biography and the general impression of the author about the contest was evaluated. Also, the poem itself was supposed to be completely computer-correct. It is extremely unnecessary to point out grammatical / spelling mistakes to someone in this round of the competition, because every such mistake is a sign of the author’s lack of dedication to the text and work with a mentor.
6. GENERAL IMPRESSION. The authors have sent poems in the previous three rounds, too. It is also, a significant factor that influenced the distribution of my points.

Their mentor, Anđela Turukalo said:

“Haeven Kidane… The form of the poem is not present at all. Poem this long deserves a bit of space and a break, just to catch breath. Since it’s the poem which speaks from two different angles, I do believe that at least those two could be ‘separated’ in a way- so it’s completely clear. There’s no distinct border between two parts of the poem. There are some strong and vivid moments- and that deserves a praise. Idea of the poem is good, the subject is interesting. Yet, untidiness and disorderliness completely prevailed everything else.

Kenneth Cheruiyot… This poetic miniature is lovely. It’s short, precise, strong enough; it has an emotion which transfers to the reader easily. Motifs in the poem are striking. I love it.

Raphael Tersuwe Akaayar… This poem is very emotional. The very start is quite striking and memorable. Then goes the explanation part, which is quite descriptive. It’s also very necessary here. The ending: gives me chills. I’m quite happy with this one.

Okorie Chukwukamma… This poem really screams it’s own title. I like the energy of it, it’s strong and fast and playful. Yet, the subject itself is weaker than some of the poems in this group. The message is weaker. The poem is well done and I like it, but it’s not among the best ones here.

Johan Chanda… The problem of this poem is the shape of it, it lacks the rhythm and the melody, it’s somewhat cluttered. Yet, the thought process here is what’s interesting. Some parts of it are simply pale ( like: “If I die young know the stress was my companion, depression was my umbrella and anxiety my shadow”- this could be written in far more interesting way). But, the other motives and the other ideas here are far more poetic and likeable. So, I believe this writer has a lot of work to do: but it’s all just “physical” matter. The emotion is there, the uniqueness is there.”

Lena Kyropoulos from Greece said: “Μr Kidane really touched deeply my heart by his emotional words… During the reading  time, I thought a hot knife invade my skin and my memories from my childhood… Gave me also a big lesson. I really feel blessed that I have read this poem… and no matter the result of the contest will be I would like to know him personally and to take an interview!!!.”

Objava MILI DUELI 2020/21: Semi-final results – DUEL 13 – Africa pojavila se prvi puta na Mili Dueli.

VRIJEME: 2020./2021. godina

ORGANIZATOR: Nermin Delić, pisac, doktor medicine.

Ukratko o sezoni 2020: Mili Dueli 2020 – online balkanski kontest poezije, u Prvom krugu je okupio 739 prijavljenih autora iz 52 zemlje svijeta. Kontest inspirisan idejom Nermina Delića, i ovaj put je već od starta prikazao zanimljiv koncept. U Prvom krugu koji je trajao od 1. juna do 30. juna 2020. godine, organizator kontesta Nermin Delić je imao zadatak da pregleda sve prijave i odabere okvirno 500 prijava koje će u narednom krugu biti predstavljene žiriju i čitaocima Milih Duela na društvenoj mreži Facebook.  Drugi krug je trajao od 12. jula do 24. avgusta 2020. godine. ORGANIZACIJA ČETVRTOG KRUGA

Datum početka Četvrtog kruga će biti naknadno objavljen. Ono što je sigurno jeste da nijedan duel neće biti istovremeno postavljen sa drugim duelima. Nakon završetka svakog duela će biti objavljeni rezultati, a tek onda će biti objavljen naredni duel.

U ovom krugu će biti predstavljeno 16 duela. Svaka balkanska zemlja će imati zasebno duel (ukupno 11 duela). Jedanaesti duel je unija balkanske dijaspore, a preostala četiri duela su kontinentalna (Afrika; Azija + Australija; Evropa; Sjeverna + Južna Amerika). U Četvrtom krugu imamo TOP 100 najboljih autora od 739 prijavljenih ove godine.

U Četvrtom krugu autori će biti predstavljeni jednom pjesmom. Izbor pjesme autor će vršiti uz pomoć mentora. 

Mentorstvo

• Svaki član žirija Mili Dueli 2020 ima ulogu mentora.
• Odluku kome će određeni član žirija biti mentor donio je organizator vodeći se ocjenama koje su autori dobijali od žirija.
• Svaki autor će dobiti jednog mentora.
• Uloga mentora podrazumijeva ulogu pomagača autoru pri izboru pjesama, sve u svrhu boljeg plasmana autora.
• Mentor ima zadatak i da sarađuje sa autorom, ukaže na eventualne informatičke, gramatičke i stilske nepravilnosti autoru.
• Autor nije dužan da usvoji mišljenje mentora.
• Način slanja pjesme za 4. krug: Pjesma se šalje putem linka koji će svakom autoru dostaviti Organizator u privatnoj poruci (inboxu) na društvenoj mreži Facebook.
• Svi autori koji ne pošalju pjesmu u predviđenom roku, bit će automatski eliminisani.
• Saradnja za izbor pjesama traje 25 dana počevši od 20. marta/ožujka do 15. aprila / travnja. Prijava pjesme se može izvršiti u bilo kojem trenutku u istoimenom intervalu.

NAČIN GLASANJA ŽIRIJA I ČITALACA

Glasanje u Četvrtom krugu će vršiti Mili Dueli žiri i čitaoci.

1. Mili Dueli – žiri 

Pravila glasanja internacionalnog žirija Mili Dueli 2020

• U svakom duelu glasaju: Organizator, Mentor/i i Dodatni član/ovi žirija. Ukupan broj članova žirija u svakom duelu je 7.
• ORGANIZATOR: U svakom duelu 4. kruga glasa organizator. Organizator daje dvostruke evrovizijske poene. On vrši višemjesečnu opservaciju autora i njihovog stvaralaštva i svojim bodovima nagrađuje autore i njihove pjesme. Detaljnom analizom pjesme i autorovog predstavljanja do sada, Organizator će obrazložiti svaki svoj glas.
• MENTOR/I: U svakom duelu se nalaze autori kojima su dodijeljeni Mentori. Svaki autor ima jednog Mentora. Mentora je autoru dodijelio Organizator i ukoliko se autor i Mentor ne pronađu tokom izbora pjesama, autor može kontaktirati Oraganizatora u pomoć. Cilj mentorstva je uspostavljanje saradnje i književne interakcije autora regiona.  U jednom duelu (npr. duelu autora iz Bosne i Hercegovine), ulogu mentora mogu imati više članova našeg žirija, tako da svaki član žirija je Mentor određenom broju autora. Nikad jedan autor ne može imati dva ili više Mentora.  Pri glasanju, Mentor daje evrovizijske poene. Pritom, Mentor ocjenjuje sve autore učesnike tog duela, ne samo one koje je mentorisao. Rad Mentora je baziran na volontiranju i predstavlja dobru volju renomiranih književnika Balkana i pobjednika Milih Duela u ranijim sezonama u što kvalitetnijem predstavljanju i napredovanju naših autora.
• DODATNI ČLAN/OVI ŽIRIJA: Dodatni članovi žirija nisu Mentori. Oni će pročitati sve pjesme autora učesnika duela i glasati potpuno neovisno o mišljenju ostalih članova žirija. Njihov broj u duelima je varijabilan i zavisi od broja Mentora u određenom duelu. Ukoliko se radi o duelu autora iz BiH, oni, pored Organizatora, imaju ukupno 3 Mentora, a s obzirom da svaki duel mora imati po 7 članova žirija, Dodatnih članova žirija u ovom duelu je 3. Isto tako, u slučaju duela autora iz Rumunije, gdje uz Organizatora, ima samo 1 Mentor, da bi se postigla cifra od 7 članova žirija, imenovano je još 5 Dodatnih članova žirija. Dodatni članovi žirija glasaju bodovima 0, 1, 2 i 3. Navedene bodove Dodatni članovi žirija mogu dijeliti shodno utisku nakon pročitane pjesme, bez pravila o broju ponavljanja određenog boda. Tako, naprimjer, svi autori mogu dobiti po 3 boda, ali i po 0 bodova, ili se bodovi mogu podijeliti onako kako Dodatni član žirija smatra da je objektivno pravedno.

Pravila glasanja čitalaca

• Čitaoci glasaju putem dviju društvenih mreža Facebook i Instagram.
• FACEBOOK: Glasanje putem društvene mreže Facebook će se održati na zvaničnoj Facebook stranici Milih Duela koju možete posjetiti klikom OVDJE. Tu će svaka pjesma biti postavljena pojedinačno, a glasanje će biti putem oznake LIKE/SVIĐA MI SE (y) . Pritom, brojat će se glasovi isključivo od čitalaca koji prate istoimenu stranicu. Dakle, da bi glas bio validan, uvjet/uslov je da zapratite Facebook stranicu Mili Dueli. Svi pristigli lajkovi će se pregledati i autori će se u svakom duelu rangirati. Na osnovu toga, bit će im dodijeljeni evrovizijski bodovi.
• INSTAGRAM: Glasanje putem društvene mreže Instagram će se održati na zvaničnoj Instagram stranici Milih Duela koju možete posjetiti klikom OVDJE. Tu će svaka pjesma biti postavljena pojedinačno, a glasanje će biti putem oznake SRCE (<3). Pritom, brojat će se glasovi isključivo od čitalaca koji prate našu Instagram stranicu. Na osnovu broja (<3) autori će se u svakom duelu rangirati i bit će im dodijeljeni evrovizijski bodovi.

Način selekcije autora za posljednji, Peti krug (TOP 50)

Posebne napomene za balkanske zemlje:

Svaka balkanska zemlja (BiH, Srbija, Hrvatska, Crna Gora, Sjeverna Makedonija, Bugarska, Albanija, Grčka, Kosovo, Rumunija i Slovenija) će dobiti svog pobjednika.  Autor koji osvoji prvo mjesto će dobiti specijalnu nacionalnu diplomu (i medalju) po završetku sezone.

Autori koji su osvojili PRVO, DRUGO i TREĆE mjesto iz BiH, Srbije, Hrvatske, Crne Gore, Sjeverne Makedonije, Bugarske i Albanije idu direktno u posljednji, peti krug (TOP 50).
Autori koji su osvojili PRVO i DRUGO mjesto iz Grčke, Kosova, Rumunije i Slovenije idu direktno u posljednji, peti krug (TOP 50).

Posebne napomene za balkansku dijasporu:
Autori koji su osvojili PRVO, DRUGO i TREĆE mjesto a dio su Balkanske dijaspore idu direktno u posljednji, peti krug (TOP 50). Autor koji osvoji prvo mjesto će dobiti specijalnu diplomu (i medalju) balkanske dijaspore po završetku sezone.

Posebne napomene za nebalkanske zemlje:

Ukupno je 33 autora iz vanbalkanskih zemalja. Nakon detaljne analize, mjesta za prolazak u finale će biti za njih 18. Pritom će se poštovati kontinentalni princip. Posebne diplome (i medalje) će se dodijeliti prvoplasiranima u Africi, Australiji i Aziji, Evrope i Sjevernoj i Južnoj Americi.

Ukupno, u Petom krugu će biti predstavljeno rekordnih 50 pjesama kroz interesantan slijed događaja. Peti krug će imati tri finalne večeri, dva Finala gdje će biti predstavljeno po 25 autora (od kojih će po 10 autora proći u Veliko finale) i jedno Veliko finale (Mili Dueli 2020 – Grand finals), gdje će biti predstavljeno 20 najboljih pjesama/autora od kojih će se birati najbolji.

Objava Mili Dueli 2020: Organizacija Četvrtog kruga pojavila se prvi puta na Mili Dueli.

TIME: 2020 /2021

Briefly about the 2020 season: Mili Dueli 2020 – an online Balkan poetry contest, gathered 739 registered authors from 52 countries in the First Round. The contest was inspired by the idea of Nermin Delic. This time it presented an interesting concept from the very beginning. In the first round, which lasted from June 1 to June 30, 2020, the organizer of the contest Nermin Delic had the task to review all applications and select approximately 500 applications that will be presented to the jury and readers of Mili Dueli on the social network Facebook (about 15 000 readers). The second round lasted from July 12 to August 24, 2020. You can see more about the organization of the Second Round here. ORGANIZATION OF THE FOURTH ROUND

The start date of the Fourth Round will be announced later. What is certain is that no duel will be set at the same time as other duels. After the end of each duel, the results will be announced, and only then will the next duel be announced.

Number of duels and participants: 16 duels will be presented in this round. Each Balkan country will have a separate duel (a total of 11 duels). The twelth duel is the union of the Balkan diaspora, and the remaining four duels are continental (Africa; Asia + Australia; Europe; North + South America). In the Fourth Round, we have the TOP 100 best authors out of 739 registered this year.

In the Fourth Round, the authors will be presented with one poem. The author will choose the poem with the help of a mentor.

Mentoring

• Each member of the Mili Dueli 2020 jury has the role of mentor.
• The decision for whom a certain member of the jury will be a mentor was made by the organizer based on the grades that the authors received from the jury.
• Each author will receive one mentor.
• The role of mentor implies the role of helping the author in the selection of poems, all for the purpose of better placement of the author.
• The mentor also has the task of cooperating with the author, pointing out possible informational, grammatical and stylistic irregularities to the author.
• The author is not obliged to adopt the opinion of the mentor.
• How to send a poem for the 4th round: The poem is sent via a link that will be delivered to each author by the Organizer in a private message (inbox) on the social network Facebook.
• All authors who do not submit a poem within the stipulated time will be automatically eliminated.
  The collaboration for the selection of poems lasts for 25 days, starting from March 20 to April 15. The poems can be registered at any time after this publication.

VOTING OF JURY AND READERS

Voting in the Fourth Round will be conducted by Mili Dueli Jury and readers.

1. Mili Dueli Jury

Voting rules of the international jury Mili Dueli 2020

• In each duel vote: Organizer, Mentor / s and Additional member / s of the jury. The total number of jury members in each duel is 7.
• ORGANIZER: In each duel of the 4th round, the organizer votes. The organizer gives double Eurovision points. He observes the authors and their work for several months and rewards the authors and their poems with his points. By a detailed analysis of the poem and the author’s presentation so far, the Organizer will explain each of his votes.
• MENTOR(S): In each duel there are authors to whom Mentors have been given. Each author has one Mentor. The mentor has been assigned to the author by the Organizer. If the author and Mentor are not interacting well during the selection of poems, the author can contact the Organizer for help. The goal of mentoring is to establish cooperation and literary interaction between the authors of the region. In one duel (eg. a duel of authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina), the role of mentor can be played by several members of our jury, so that some members of the jury are Mentors to a certain number of authors. One author can never have two or more Mentors. When voting, Mentor gives Eurovision points. At the same time, the Mentor evaluates all the authors who participated in that duel, not only the ones he/she mentored. The work of the Mentor is based on volunteering and represents the good will of renowned writers from the Balkans and the earlier winners of the Mili Dueli.
• ADDITIONAL JURY MEMBER(S): Additional members of the jury are not Mentors. They will read all the poems of the authors of the duel and vote completely independently of the opinion of the other members of the jury. Their number in duels is variable and depends on the number of Mentors in a particular duel. If it is a duel of Bosnian authors, they have a total of 3 Mentors + Organizer, and since each duel must have 7 members of the jury, Additional jury members in this duel is 3. Also, in the case of a duel of authors from Romania, where there is only 1 Mentor + Organizer, in order to achieve a figure of 7 members of the jury, 5 more Additional members of the jury were appointed. Additional members of the jury vote with points 0, 1, 2 and 3. These points Additional members of the jury can share according to the impression after reading the poems, without rules on the number of repetitions of a particular point. Thus, for example, all authors can receive 3 points, but also 0 points, or the points can be divided as the Additional member of the jury considers to be objectively fair.

Readers’ voting rules

• Readers vote through the two social networks Facebook and Instagram.
• FACEBOOK: Voting via the social network Facebook will take place on the official Facebook page of Mili Dueli, which you can visit by clicking HERE. There, each poem will be posted individually, and voting will be via the LIKE (y) . The votes will be counted exclusively from the readers who follow our page. So, in order for the vote to be valid, the condition is that you follow the Mili Dueli Facebook page. All received likes will be reviewed and the authors will be ranked in each duel. Based on that, they will be awarded Eurovision points.
• INSTAGRAM: Voting via the social network Instagram will take place on the official Instagram page of Mili Dueli, which you can visit by clicking HERE. There, each poem will be posted individually, and voting will be via the HEART tag (<3). Votes will be counted exclusively from readers who follow our Instagram page. Based on the number (<3), the authors will be ranked in each duel and will be awarded Eurovision points.

Author selection method: Who will be in the last, Fifth round (TOP 50)?

Special notes for Balkan countries:

Each Balkan country (B&H, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece, Kosovo, Romania and Slovenia) will have a winner. The author who wins first place will receive a special national diploma (and medal) at the end of the season.

Authors who won FIRST, SECOND and THIRD places from BiH, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria and Albania go directly to the last, Fifth round (TOP 50).
Authors who won FIRST and SECOND place from Greece, Kosovo, Romania and Slovenia go directly to the last, fifth round (TOP 50).

Special notes for the Balkan diaspora:
Authors who won FIRST, SECOND and THIRD places and are part of the Balkan Diaspora go directly to the last, fifth round (TOP 50). The author who wins first place will receive a special diploma (and medal) from the Balkan Diaspora at the end of the season.

Special notes for non-Balkan countries:

There are a total of 33 authors from non-Balkan countries. After a detailed analysis, the places to go to the finals will be for 18 of them. Special diplomas (and medals) will be awarded to first place winners in Africa, Australia and Asia, Europe and North and South America.

In total, a record 50 authors will be presented in the Fifth Round through an interesting Final 1, Final 2 and Grand Final event. The Fifth round will have 3 final evenings, two Finals where 25 authors will be presented (of which 10 authors will go to the Grand Finals) and one Grand Final (Mili Dueli 2020 – Grand finals), where the 20 best authors will be presented. authors from whom the best one will be chosen.

Objava Mili Dueli 2020: Organization Of The Fourth Round pojavila se prvi puta na Mili Dueli.

LOCATION OF MILI DUELI: The comfort of your home. All you need to do is follow the placement of your poem and the comments it received from the social media.

Mili Dueli 2020 – an online Balkan poetry contest, gathered 739 registered authors from 52 countries in the First Round. The contest was inspired by the idea of Nermin Delic, and this time it presented an interesting concept from the very beginning. In the first round, which lasted from June 1 to June 30, 2020, the organizer of the contest Nermin Delic had the task to review all applications and select approximately 500 applications that will be presented to the jury and readers of Mili Dueli on the social network Facebook. .

On July 4, 2020, it was published a list of selected authors to be presented in the Second Round of Mili Duels 2020. According to the list compiled by the organizer, 477 authors were selected for the further course of the contest. The second round lasted from July 12 to August 24, 2020. At the beginning of September, the results were published, and in the middle of September, the authors who passed sent poems for the next one – the Third Round, which is in front of us. THIRD ROUND ORGANIZATION

The start date of the Third Round will be announced later.

Number of duels and participants: 9 duels will be presented in this round. Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia now have one duel each, compared to the previous round when they had 2 and 3, respectively, due to the number of participating authors. In the Third Round, we have the TOP 250 best authors out of 739 registered this year.

Jury members: The members of the jury were presented at the beginning of the season and there were no changes in the Third Round. Unlike the previous round, when they judged only one duel, in the Third Round, the obligations of the jury are complicated and judged in several duels. The exceptions are jury consultants for Greece and Albania, who judge only authors from those countries. You can see all the details about our jury members here:

A Third Round poem? In the Third Round, the authors will be presented with ONE POEM that they sent to participate in the Third Round of Mili Dueli 2020. If they failed to send the poem within the deadline, the organizer will use the poem they sent as part of the application for Mili Dueli 2020.

The Third Round of Mili Duels 2020 will feature a total of 257 authors, divided into 9 national duels. The duels are composed on the basis of the geographical distribution of the authors, whether the authors live in the Balkans or are from the Balkan diaspora, or whether they are foreigners.

 VOTING SYSTEM OF JURY AND READERS

In the Third Round, both the jury and the readers vote. For each of the 9 duels of the Third Round, a President of the Jury (one or two) was appointed, and one or two Additional members of the Jury, who will perform further selection of authors.

The president of the jury was the primary selector of authors for participation in the Second Round. Additional members of the jury were added in order to evaluate the poems as authoritatively as possible.

This season’s jury evaluation in the Third Round of Mili Dueli will be performed in compliance with the following rules:

• All songs will be judged by 4 members of the jury.
• The grading method is grades 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
• Each member of the jury has the right to give the grade he/she wants, regardless of how many times it will be repeated in the duel he is judging. The only exceptions are grades 1 and 2, which can only be used once in one duel.
• Each duel, out of a total of 9 duels, will have a different jury, according to the decision of the Organizer.
• The voting format looks like this:
  Organizer – Jury President – Additional jury member (2x)
  or in the case of Duel 1, Duel 2 and Duel 7 as follows:
  Organizer – Jury President (2x) – Additional jury member
• The role of the Additional Jury members is defined as follows: The Additional Jury member gives his / her grade and comment on the poem. Giving a grade is mandatory, and giving a comment is not.
• The role of the President of the Jury is defined as follows: The President of the Jury gives his grade and comment on the poem. Giving a grade is mandatory, as is giving a comment. If the Jury President fails to write comments on the poems, his grades will be verified as the grades of the Additional Jury Member.
• The role of the Organizer is defined as follows: The Organizer gives his assessment and comment on the poem and the perspective he sees in the authors when it comes to collaboration with Mili Dueli, as well as based on the reviews of the jury that form the backbone of Mili Dueli. Giving both ratings and comments is mandatory, for each author. If he notices that no one has given a comment to any author, the organizer is obliged to send a review of the poem by the author of the same name.

This season’s readers’ evaluation in the Third Round of Mili Duels will be performed in compliance with the following rules:

• All poems will be posted on the social network Facebook, on the official Mili Dueli page.
  * So, unlike the last round when voting was on the official profile, this time voting will be possible on the official Mili Duels Facebook page.
• The poems will be placed in the description of the pictures of the duel.
• Readers vote in the comments by entering the ordinal number under which the author is presented with the poem.
• Only the votes / comments of those who liked the page are counted !.

• At the end of the Third Round, the Organizer reviews all comments and records only those received from readers who liked the page.

Method of selection TOP 100

• The grades of the President of the Jury and the Additional Members of the Jury will be added up and the average grade will be drawn from them. To this average grade will be added the Organizer’s grade and the overall grade will be determined by the TOP 100 authors who pass to the next, Fourth Round (Semifinals).
• The president of the jury, if he/she follows the voting rules and sends his/her comments and ratings on the poems has a special right to send ONE author directly to the Semifinals. He/she may not use that right.
• Readers reward a total of 25 authors with the highest number of votes. The 3 authors with the highest number of votes will be awarded DIRECT passage to the Semifinals / Fourth Round, regardless of the votes of the jury. In addition, 22 more authors, in addition to the evaluation of the Organizer and the evaluation of the President of the Jury and the Additional Jury Member, will have a grade (5) by readers, which will certainly be of great help in the final selection as the maximum grade will improve their average.
• During the selection of the TOP 100, the national and continental principle will be valid, so that from the first 6 duels, a minimum of 5 authors must pass from each duel, and from Duel 7 at least 2 authors from each country. A minimum of 4 authors must pass from Duel 8 (Balkan Diaspora), and from Duel 9 (Non-Balkan countries), the Organizer is obliged to strive to respect the national and continental principle.

SPECIAL FIVE! The point is that we will reward all our authors who are close, from the same or neighboring city, and establish mutual cooperation in terms of socializing, with an additional grade 5 that will add up with other grades and thus help the authors reach the Semifinals (TOP 100) . All you have to do is send a photo from the gathering to the Organizer in the inbox and both authors from the photo will get a grade 5.

Note: Mili Dueli remind the authors that we are in the COVID pandemic season, and therefore, physical distance is recommended during the meeting, as well as wearing a mask and using disinfectants, and the author’s behavior in accordance with current regulations of the country in which they live.

ABOUT THE FOURTH ROUND – SEMIFINALS

After the Third Round, the list of TOP 250 authors will be reduced to the TOP 100 authors. Those hundred best authors will participate in the Semifinals – the penultimate round of our contest. The organization of the Semifinals will come out when the time comes, but what is known from the very beginning is that the semifinal round will be a mentoring round. This means that our top 100 authors will be given the opportunity to be mentored by our jury members. So, the authors will have the opportunity to work with one of our members on the selection and eventual correction of the poem for the Semifinals.

The semifinal round will surpass the one from the previous year. A spectacular organization is expected that we still keep secret.

Mili Dueli 2020 – online balkanski kontest poezije, u Prvom krugu je okupio 739 prijavljenih autora iz 52 zemlje svijeta. Kontest inspirisan idejom Nermina Delića, i ovaj put je već od starta prikazao zanimljiv koncept. U Prvom krugu koji je trajao od 1. juna do 30. juna 2020. godine, organizator kontesta Nermin Delić je imao zadatak da pregleda sve prijave i odabere okvirno 500 prijava koje će u narednom krugu biti predstavljene žiriju i čitaocima Milih Duela na društvenoj mreži Facebook. 

4. jula 2020. godine, objavljena je lista odabranih autora koji će biti predstavljeni u Drugom krugu Mili Dueli 2020. Prema listi koju je sastavio organizator, odabrano je 477 autora za dalji tok kontesta. Drugi krug je trajao od 12. jula do 24. avgusta 2020. godine. Početkom septembra su objavljeni rezultati, a sredinom septembra su autori koji su prošli slali pjesme za naredni – Treći krug, koji je pred nama. ORGANIZACIJA TREĆEG KRUGA

Datum početka Trećeg kruga će biti naknadno objavljen. 

Broj duela i učesnika

U ovom krugu će biti predstavljeno 9 duela. Bosna i Hercegovina i Srbija sada imaju po jedan duel, u odnosu na prethodni krug kada su imale 2, odnosno 3, zbog brojnosti autora-učesnika. U Trećem krugu imamo TOP 250 najboljih autora od 739 prijavljenih ove godine.

Članovi žirija

Članovi žirija su predstavljeni na početku sezone i u Trećem krugu nije došlo do promjena. Za razliku od prethodnog kruga kada su žirirali isključivo jedan duel, u Trećem krugu obaveze žirija se usložnjavaju i žiriraju u više duela. Izuzetak su žiri-konsultanti za Grčku i Albaniju koji žiriraju samo autore koji su iz tih zemalja. Sve detalje o našim članovima žirija možete vidjeti ovdje:

Pjesma Trećeg kruga? U Trećem krugu autori će biti predstavljeni sa po JEDNOM PJESMOM koju su poslali za učešće u Trećem krugu Mili Dueli 2020. Ukoliko nisu uspjeli u predviđenom roku poslati pjesmu, organizator će upotrijebiti pjesmu koju su poslali u sklopu prijave za Mili Dueli 2020.

U Trećem krugu Mili Dueli 2020 naći će se ukupno 257 autora, podijeljenih u 9 nacionalnih duela. Dueli su sastavljeni na osnovu geografske rasprostranjenosti autora, da li autori žive na Balkanu ili su balkanska dijaspora, ili se, pak, radi o strancima.

NAČIN GLASANJA ŽIRIJA I ČITALACA

U Trećem krugu glasaju i žiri i čitaoci. Svakom od ukupno 9 duela Trećeg kruga, imenovan je Predsjednik žirija (jedan ili dva), te po jedan ili dva Dodatna člana žirija, koji će vršiti dalju selekciju autora.

Predsjednik žirija je bio prevashodni selektor autora za učešće u Drugom krugu. Dodatni članovi žirija su dodani u cilju što mjerodavnije procjene pjesama.

Ovosezonsko ocjenjivanje žirija u Trećem krugu Mili Dueli bit će izvedeno uz poštivanje sljedećih pravila:

• Sve pjesme će biti ocjenjene od strane 4 člana žirija.
• Metod ocjenjivanja su ocjene  1, 2, 3, 4 ili 5.
• Svaki član žirija ima pravo dati ocjenu koju želi, bez obzira na to koliko će se ona puta ponavljati u duelu koji ocjenjuje. Izuzetak su samo ocjene 1 i 2 koje se mogu upotrijebiti samo jedanput u jednom duelu.
• Svaki duel, od ukupno 9 duela, imat će drugačiji saziv žirija, po odluci Organizatora.
• Format glasanja izgleda ovako:
  Organizator – Predsjednik žirija – Dodatni član žirija (2x)
  ili u slučaju Duela 1, Duela 2 i Duela 7 ovako:
  Organizator – Predsjednik žirija (2x) – Dodatni član žirija
• Uloga Dodatnih članova žirija je definisana na sljedeći način: Dodatni član žirija daje svoju ocjenu i komentar na pjesmu. Davanje ocjene je obavezno, a davanje komentara nije.
• Uloga Predsjednika žirija je definisana na sljedeći način: Predsjednik žirija daje svoju ocjenu i komentar na pjesmu. Davanje ocjene je obavezno, kao i davanje komentara. Ukoliko Predsjednik žirija ne uspije napisati komentare na pjesme, njegove ocjene će biti verifikovane kao ocjene Dodatnog člana žirija.
• Uloga Organizatora je definisana na sljedeći način: Organizator daje svoju ocjenu i komentar na pjesmu i perspektivu koju vidi u autorima kada je saradnja sa Mili Dueli u pitanju, kao i na osnovu osvrta žirija koji čine okosnicu Milih Duela. Davanje i ocjene i komentara je obavezno, za svakog autora. Ukoliko primjeti da nekom autoru niko nije dao komentar, organizator je dužan da uputi osvrt na pjesmu istoimenog autora.Organizator zadržava pravo konsultacije sa Predsjednikom žirija i pregleda komentara žirija u cilju što mjerodavnije procjene.

Ovosezonsko ocjenjivanje čitalaca u Trećem krugu Mili Dueli bit će izvedeno uz poštivanje sljedećih pravila:

• Sve pjesme će biti postavljene na društvenoj mreži Facebook, na oficijalnoj stranici Mili Dueli.
  * Dakle, za razliku od prošlog kruga kada je glasanje bilo na zvaničnom profilu, ovoga puta će glasanje biti moguće na zvaničnoj stranici Mili Dueli na Facebooku. 
• Pjesme će biti postavljene u opisu slika duela.
• Čitaoci glasaju u komentarima upisivanjem rednog broja pod kojim je autor predstavljen sa pjesmom.
• Broje se isključivo glasovi/komentari onih koji su lajkovali stranicu!.
  *Da biste osigurali da Vaš glas bude validan, već ovdje možete lajkovati stranicu:

• Na kraju Trećeg kruga, Organizator pregleda sve komentare i bilježi samo one koji su pristigli od čitalaca koji su lajkovali stranicu.

Način selekcije TOP 100

• Ocjene Predsjednika žirija i Dodatnih članova žirija će biti sabrane i iz njih će se izvući prosječna ocjena. Na tu prosječnu ocjenu će se dodati ocjena Organizatora i ukupna ocjena će odrediti TOP 100 autora koji prolaze u naredni, Četvrti krug (Polufinale).
• Predsjednik žirija, ukoliko ispoštuje pravila glasanja i uputi svoje komentare i ocjene na pjesme, ima specijalno pravo da JEDNOG autora direktno pošalje u Polufinale. To pravo može da i ne iskoristi.
• Čitaoci nagrađuju ukupno 25 autora sa najvećim brojem glasova. 3 autora sa najvećim brojem glasova će biti nagrađeni DIREKTNIM prolaskom u Polufinale/Četvrti krug, bez obzira na glasove žirija. Pored toga, još 22 autora će pored ocjene Organizatora i ocjene Predsjednika žirija i Dodatnog člana žirija, imati ubrajanu ocjenu (5) od strane čitalaca, što će im svakako biti od velike pomoći pri finalnoj selekciji budući da će im maksimalna ocjena popraviti prosjek.
• Prilikom selekcije TOP 100 će vrijediti nacionalni i kontinentalni princip, tako da iz prvih 6 duela, iz svakog duela ponaosob mora proći minimalno po 5 autora, a iz Duela 7 minimalno po 2 autora iz svake zemlje. Iz Duela 8 (Balkanska dijaspora) mora proći minimalno 4 autora, a iz Duela 9 (Vanbalkanske zemlje), Organizator je dužan da teži poštovanju nacionalnog i kontinentalnog principa.

POSEBNA PETICA! Riječ je o tome da ćemo sve naše autore koji su blizu, iz istog ili susjednog su grada, i uspostave međusobnu saradnju u smislu druženja, nagraditi dodatnom ocjenom 5 koja će se zbrajati sa ostalim ocjenama i time pomoći autorima da dostignu Polufinale (TOP 100). Dovoljno je samo da, u inboks Organizatoru, pošaljete zajedničku sliku sa druženja/susreta i oba autora sa slike će dobiti naknadno ocjenu 5.

Napomena: Mili Dueli podsjećaju autore da smo u sezoni COVID-pandemije, te se stoga, pri susretu preporučuje fizička distanca, te nošenje maske i upotreba dezinficijensa, te ponašanje autora u skladu sa aktualnim propisima države u kojoj žive.

O ČETVRTOM KRUGU – POLUFINALU

Nakon Trećeg kruga, lista TOP 250 autora će se smanjiti na TOP 100 autora. Tih sto najboljih autora će sudjelovati u Polufinalnu – pretposljednjem krugu našeg kontesta. Organizacija Polufinala će izaći kada za to dođe vrijeme, ali ono što je poznato već od samog starta jeste da će polufinalni krug biti mentorski krug. To znači da će naših sto najboljih autora dobiti priliku da budu mentorisani od strane naših članova žirija. Dakle, autori će imati priliku da sa jednim od naših članova rade na izboru i eventualnoj korekciji pjesme za Polufinale.

Polufinalni krug će nadmašiti onaj iz prethodne godine. Očekuje se spektakularna organizacija koju još uvijek čuvamo u tajnosti.
