MILI DUELI 2020: Third round results – DUEL 9 – Non-Balkan Countries

Mili Duels 2020 (8th season) had 739 entries from 52 countries. It is the largest and most popular online poetry contest in this area, which for the 8th year in a row brings together poets from the region, and lately from around the world. Mili Dueli is headquartered in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The purpose of the contest is to encourage intercultural dialogue among artists from the Balkans and the world. Being one of the most sensitive regions in the world with a turbulent past, the aim of the contest is to build bridges of culture and mutual respect between the once war-torn areas.

The contest is traditionally composed of 5 elimination rounds. In each round, the number of authors decreases, and in the last, Fifth round, the winner is decided by a voting system based on the Eurovision Song Contest scoring system. The main responsible person of the contest is Nermin Delić, the idea creator and organizer of the contest. For 8 years in a row, Mili Dueli have been gathering authors and spreading the influence of poetry in everyday life.

Briefly about the First Round: The selection of all received applications (739) was performed by Nermin Delić. The organizer selected 476 authors for presentation in the Second Round.

Briefly about the Second Round: After the selection in the First Round by the organizer of the contest, Nermin Delić, 476 authors were selected and presented in the Second Round. In the Second Round, the authors are classified in 12 duels, according to the countries they come from. Due to the number of participants, Bosnia and Herzegovina had 2 duels (DUEL 1, DUEL 2), and Serbia 3 (DUEL 3, DUEL 4, DUEL 5). Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bulgaria had one duel each (DUEL 6, DUEL 7, DUEL 8, DUEL 9). Due to the small number of participants, authors from Albania, Greece, Kosovo, Romania and Slovenia were presented in one duel (DUEL 10). Poets with Balkan roots, but with current residence outside the Balkans, are grouped together in one duel (DUEL 11). In the end, all authors coming from non-Balkan countries are grouped into one duel (DUEL 12).

The beginning of the presentation of the duel on the official Facebook profile of Mili Dueli was on July 12, 2020. Duels are presented in order, every 2-3 or 4 days according to the scope of the duel. For the first 15 days from the presentation of the duel, the followers of Mili Dueli were able to vote in the comments by entering the author’s number below the picture where her/his poem is presented. In addition to the readers, the members of the jury, composed of 12 renowned and important for Mili Duel artists from the Balkans, also voted. They selected 90% of the authors to pass to the Third Round. The other 10% is intended for the votes of the readers, for those who were not selected by the jury, and who have the great support of their friends and companions Mili Dueli.

How was the vote?

VOTING RULES:

In Duel 6, all authors from Bulgaria who passed the previous selection are presented. The number of participants in Duel 6 is 20.
How the votes were counted: The ratings of the additional members of the jury were added up to the average grade, and that with the grades of the President of the jury, and with the grades of the Readers and the grade of the Common Picture. The drawn average grade is summed with the grade of the Organizer and thus the final average grade is obtained on the basis of which the authors are ranked.
The President of the jury had the right to send one author directly to the Semifinals. The President of the jury in this duel did not used that option.
In this duel, no author passed directly based on the votes of the readers. Only one Bulgarian author with a large number of readers’ votes was awarded a grade of 5. By the way, according to the rules of the 3rd round, Readers awarded the 3 authors with the highest number of votes in the Third Round – direct passage to the Semifinals, and another 22 authors received a grade of 5. 5 authors stood out significantly in terms of the number of readers’ votes in the Third Round, the organizer decided to release all five directly into the next round.

Common picture. The authors were entitled to an additional grade (5) if they sent a picture with some of the participants of the 3rd round of the Due Duels 2020. The goal of the pictures was to encourage social relations outside of online activities and socializing.

SO, WHAT ‘S THE NEXT?

TOP 100 – Authors who entered the TOP 100 went directly to the Semifinals Mili Dueli 2020. Each of them will be assigned a mentor at the discretion of the Organizer, and the names of their mentors will be announced later. The mentor can only be one of the members of the Mili DuelI 2020 jury. All the details related to the preparation and sending Semifinals poems (ROUND 4) will be received in a private message in the inbox. Please be patient!

TOP 120 – Authors who entered the TOP 120 did not go directly to the Semifinals of the Mili Dueli 2020. They will, after the announcement of the all results, be offered to the members of the jury to choose them to be their mentors. If none of the members of the jury expresses their will to be their mentor, the authors will not make it to the Semifinals. If one member of the jury responds, that member of the jury will automatically become a mentor. If more than 2 members of the jury apply, the Organizer will, in cooperation with the authors, select one of the offered members of the jury as a mentor to the author.

TOP 250 – Authors who remained in the TOP 250 did not make it to the Mili Dueli 2020 Semifinals. Their contribution to the spread of the project and poetry will be rewarded by receiving electronic recognition for their participation as they represented their countries in a bright light (TOP 250 from 739 registered !!!), and will accordingly receive recognition for the intercultural dialogue of the Balkan countries and the countries of the world in which they participated.

All the presented poems will be represented in a electronic collection which, apparently, will have its own printed edition (summer, 2021), when MILI DUELI BALKAN TOUR awaits us. More on that soon!

Also, all authors who are 2000 or younger will be presented at the MILI DUEL JUNIOR ONLINE POETRY CONTEST which will start a few days after the end of the eighth season of Mili Duels 2020 – Online Balkan Poetry Contest!

Dear friends,
In anticipation of the announcement of the list of semi-finalists Mili Duels 2020, we will make a recapitulation of everything published so far – in the eighth season. This year we had 739 authors from 52 countries around the world. This is not only a record number of participants in this contest since its founding, but generally a record number of authors participating in an online poetry event in the region – the Balkans, and definitely in Europe where the Balkan countries geographically belong. In addition to the Balkan countries, almost all European countries took participation, as well as some countries of North and South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia did that too.
Experience has taught me that a lot of participation is incidental – while competing, they hang out until then, and later disappear. But year after year has shown that in each there are those who stay and sign eternity with us. Mili Duel as a way of thinking. Mili Dueli as a school of writing. Mili Dueli as psychotherapy. Mili Dueli as a generation of people in an insanely difficult history with which we are both gifted and crippled. Mili Dueli as a revision of the past. Mili Dueli as the Rise of the Present. Mili Dueli as the birth of the future. There is something, people … And that something was built by you who stay with me every year, with us – this bulwark of love for man and his ability to write. Mili Dueli is the only project in the Balkans that gave the poems, not the authors, a chance to succeed. That is why we have encountered a number of condemnations that “anonymous people without a published book” win, and decorated “diplomats with Indian and Bhutanese electronic achievements from Paint”, “gods”, “champions” of poetry, no. A porter and a tinsmith can really write better poetry than two professors of literature whose title only indicates that they are lovers of poetry, not necessarily excellent writers.
Mili Dueli as a lifestyle. Indeed, they have changed the lives of many. Some have the wind in their backs, some miss the reason why they walled up their windows. The jury of Mili Dueli from year to year votes transparently, completely objectively, each for himself and from their homes in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, North Macedonia, Germany, Greece and Albania. What people really appreciate is that we are not like the majority that just declares a winner, without any explanation. People need explanations. And life needs them. And conscience needs them the most. In our country, everything has always been “black and white”. So many comments have changed the ways of thinking and writing to many authors. We educated writers and opened the door to thoughts we would never knock on. We have helped many to write solidly, which is why they are now far more respected in society. Indeed, a large percentage of books are published after participation, precisely because Mili Dueli showed the authors how important what they write is.
A diploma is not everything in life, I tell you, who has more significant diplomas than those from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, etc … Those diplomas they get did not receive, only who did not ask. My people – I am also a doctor of medicine. But I have a feeling that in Mili Dueli I treat the most – because I have made so many authors, together with my team, happy, completely free of charge. And is there anything more expensive than free stuff ?! With my ideas, I detoxify the poisons we drank every day because we were just thirsty. Only with Mili Dueli can I erase boundaries and live in a world of letters and images – the perfect ones, the ones from the head.
As you know, the Balkans have a desert climate for literature. With minimal exceptions, most of the competition is hilarious – inspired by personal earnings and promotions, a debatable jury and non-innovation. In such an environment, Mili Duelihave sprung up and have been growing for 8 years. Mili Duelli, about which the most famous business magazine in the world, a world media such as Forbes wrote and rated them “the most popular in the former Yugoslavia”.
Mili Dueli have given birth to tens of thousands of online contacts, fostered many friendships and international encounters – in short: they have achieved a lot, and those who stay – will see how much is left to happen to us. Because we found the way. A path that does not tread on others, to exist. Let’s believe in the future, because this miracle will exist as long as there is one person who wants to become better by helping others to be better.
I appeal to all authors and friends to experience these results of the Third Round in the right way. One song was judged, the one you chose and sent yourself. If the poem is “unimpressive”, at the very least, you didn’t get any positive comments, not even the best ratings. But that does not mean that you are bad authors and that all your contribution to poetry is valued by that assessment. Write, write and write … because we have so little time.

As you can see, I gained a positive impression for most of the poems, because, among other things, they are about the 20 best authors that Bulgaria has in this competition. However, I made the gradation of the grades based on the comparison of the poems, in order to respect the propositions of the contest.

Jury President: ANĐELA TURUKALO

Fernando Massunga, I like this poem, especially in its original language. It’s emotional, it has a lovely melody and I feel it reflecting the energy onto the reader. It lacks a bit of contrasting moments, it does sound a bit flat. But, nevertheless, good job.

Haeven Kidane, I find this poem a bit too simple. It’s too mellow and sweet, it lacks more memorable motives. “I chose to be with you” is a fine statement, but there had to be more depth and poetry around that statement. Also, I loved the part
“Cause, babe, you’re a mouse in my house that I couldn’t find.
You make me scream,
you make me annoyed.”
It did change the rhythm and the ambient there, for a tiny moment. So, more of that, and it will be better.

Mark Bentsil, I like the motives here. The ending is quite…charming, I’d say. But, it feels like the author is a slave to the rhyme. Rhyme is not something that should control you, it’s supposed to be the other way around. Rhyme should feel natural while reading.

Kenneth Cheruiyot, there’s too much to list… That repetitive part “tell me” is quite dull. It lacks originality and drama, it lacks energy, it lacks movement. It’s a straight line, the same tone from start till the very end.

Ikram Moussaddek, the problem I see here could be the ending. It feels like it should be more ‘alive’, somehow stronger, tougher. Something to make the whole poem complete. “Guide me through this” is kind of too soft and simple for a poem like this one. Also, I think this poem should be divided into strophes, it would be way more presentable, more pleasing to the eye. Metaphors aren’t getting enough attention this way. The previous poem was better.

Palakiyem Konga- it will be the lowest grade, because there wasn’t any translation. I’m not able to understand this- so I’m not able to grade it properly.

Evelyne Ricki Kakyo, I love the energy of this poem… It’s sweetness is adorable, really. It’s so feminine and magical. But, there is a problem of repeating “petals” four times in four lines. It’s too much. It feels like you couldn’t find another word to use, like you didn’t have anything to say, so you just continued with the petals, petals, petals till the end. I think you should work on that part: be careful with repetitions, you have to create space between them. Everything else is very good.

Johan Chanda, this poem was a bit boring. There were too many questions, guessings- for no actual purpose. The poem, considering its subject, is very long and very flat. You had to put more energy and creativity into this. It does have a couple of interesting moments, but it wasn’t enough.

Nweke Evidence Muser, this poem is quite memorable. It leaves a mark on the reader and it definitely is quite picturesque. I loved that part. But, it lacks a bit of clarity in the last part of the poem. That last strophe is a problematic part for me. It feels somehow disconnected and unclear.

Samuel Nnadi, very interesting and quite powerful. The ending was very good. Well done.

Raphael Tersuwe Akaayar, I didn’t like it. While reading, it sounded like a weak cry, somehow pale and boring. It lacks metaphors, it lacks something to make it stand out.

Okorie Chukwukamma Membis, this wasn’t a bad poem, but it’s weak. It does not stand out between this sort of competition, it’s too mellow and sweet. It lacks statement, it lacks strength. This author should work more on his expression, to make it more original and livelier.

Fawaz Salman, beautiful work. It’s powerful, it has a message, it’s fluent and vivid. I love your expression. The ending is perfect. I live the ambiance of this poem, the way that you play with motives. Lovely.

Elif Sezen, it’s a nice poem, but it somehow doesn’t feel complete. It lacks something. It’s not whole. Also, it’s all “the same colour, same tone”… This poem needs more of a life.

Alparslan Oghuz, it could be better, definitely. But, the way you express his state of mind is wonderful. I felt his pain while reading this. The last strophe is lovely. The first two- not so much. There’s a problem in the originality of expression. It doesn’t have to be so simple, so something we got used to reading/hearing. Make it more ‘yours’.

Tianyu, not perfect like the last time, but not bad. There’s still softness and sweetness, that’s amazing. You know how to use it, definitely. But, there are some verses that are cliche. You don’t need that, your imagination and expression would be enough on their own to make a great poem.

Reema Bakose, well done. I’d love to see you experimenting with more powerful imagery and less rhyming thing. I think you would fit perfectly into less rules and more imagination.

Gili Haimovich, amazing miniature: sharp, profound, clear, strong and meaningful. Well done.

Joan Lim, it’s a purposeful miniature that really caught my attention here. Nice job.

Muhammed Azram, I can see you had a great idea. This wisdom-life-faith moment is very intriguing. Yet, it feels like a poem took over you, instead of your controlling her. This monologue of Life should be a bit more mystified and enriched. It’s too simple and too dry…

Russel Edles, rhyme and form are controlling the poem- not the author. It feels artificial and superficial, not very profound. It lacks creativity and personality.

Ahmet Işler, perfect. It’s deep and strong, meaningful and lovely. It sounds even better in turkish. Well done.

Esref Ozan Baygın, I’d be happier if you’d use punctuation. Nevertheless, this poem is lovely. Well done.

Jana Orlova, amazing job. There’s really nothing to say. Well done.

Andrejs Solovjovs, I see you had a great idea and it was almost perfect. I think that the last verse should be way better: clearer and stronger; to accentuate the poem properly. The rest of it was very good.

Eliza Seiget, interesting approach to the subject. It’s very dark and it really transfers the energy to the reader. Good job.

Alexandra Mantsevoda, the trouble here is “the rules”. You don’t have to create them for yourself. There’s a lot of unnecessary words, and I can see that you put them there just to complete the rhythm you wanted and to make it rhyme. Yet, when you put a lot of unnecessary words, you’re making the poem weaker. It does not bear the energy like it’s supposed to. Every word you use should have a place for a reason- words have to contain purpose. Otherwise, they’re weighing the poem down.

Inna Načarova, it’s too descriptive, so much that I can’t really recognise the point here. It lacks depth and meaning.

Tomas Waginger, it feels like you’re talking to someone. It doesn’t feel like a poem. Also, it’s too naive, too soft, too childlike. It lacks depth and strength. I don’t see anything new, anything so creative that it stands out… It needed more effort. Also “I saw paradise, i was in paradise” is too soft of a verse to be a poem-bearer.

Yurij Lishchuk, punctuation would be desirable- it gives the poem a proper rhythm. It really helps. Nevertheless, this poem is great. Well done.

Ivanna Samchuk, punctuation would be desirable. But, the poem is lovely. Great job.

Emi Endqkova, this poem contains some lovely motives. I like the usage of metaphors. I do believe it lacks some energy, some wild moment, something to make an explosion there. But, it’s quite good.

Julijana Mehmeti, once again: beautiful motives, it’s almost like I’m watching a beautiful painting. But, it lacks one strong moment to make it way brighter. It lacks culmination. I like your writing style.

Michela Zanarella, the very start of the poem did not sound very promising. “Happy rivers of love” is a bit of cliche. But, the rest of the poem was lovely. I thought about giving it a 4, but some verses you wrote really made me close my eyes to that first one.

Gloria Sofia, interesting poem woth very interesting energy. Well done.

Lucilla Trapazzo, this is one of the best poems in this group. Wonderful work. I loved it in italian, loved it in english, loved it in montenegrin… There’s no way for this poem to sound bad, or even average. Great job.

Anne Thrope, I’d prefer to see this poem divided into strophes, with proper punctuation. This way it seems chaotic, even though it isn’t. I like your expression and, though the previous one was a bit better, I have no further problems to adress here.

Marcus Davis Kiss, interesting poem again. This time, I see it’s more of a ‘story-telling’ than poetry. It certainly is a statement, and a big one. It doesn’t lack strength nor energy, but I really think it deserved to be more poetic.

Thiago Rezende Soares, this is a poem filled with advices. There’s nothing we never heard before, nothing new, nothing big. It’s simple and quite superficial. I think it deserved more of your effort.

Учесници трећег круга такмичења у овом делу, стиче се такав утисак, веома су пажљиво одабрали своје песме. И, чини ми се тако, нема толико велике разлике у квалитету њихових песама и песама аутора са наших простора. Посебних похвала које би могле утицати на коначан исход/резултат, немам. Оценом пет (5) оцењено је доста учесника јер они то заиста заслужују. Нема ни један прилог да није вредан пажње да би добио непролазну оцену Један рад нема превода и одлучио сам да му доделим просечну оцену која може, а не мора бити адекватна.
Вредно је напоменути да су преводи ових песама урађени врло коректно, чак бих рекао да ја наша А. ТУРУКАЛО урадила добре препеве, што се од ње, свакако и очекивало, јер и сама пупише изврсне стихове. Верујем да ће учесници и организатори бити задовољни њеним преводима/препевима.
Већ у овом делу такмичења назире се она права намера организатора да цео поетски свет окупи на једно место и стави под исту поетску круну. Он је ту успео, на чему му честитам,

IZGUBLJEN U RAJU

Privlačiš se ka meni u svojoj mekoj haljinici,
dječji smijeh sredinom aprila…
Tratinčice su bile po cijeloj zemlji, a nebo je bilo naš krov.
Ali, nije bilo dovoljno visoko da bismo letjeli
niti dovoljno gostoljubivo da se pomolimo.
Tako smo prskali parfem kroz čist vazduh,
jer sam te uvjerio da ćemo samo tako ostaviti svoj miris
i otisak na mjestu koje nije naše.
Sanjamo i sanjamo i kvasimo jastuk zaslađenim snovima,
slađim od tragedije i jasnijim od moje vizije stvarnosti.
Nije bitno, obećavam ti to.
Zapravo, nije važno, pa sam počeo nositi tu malu, prepuklu masku,
nazvavši je životom bez iskrivljenih posljedica.
I nikada stvarno nećeš razumeti,
jer sam te dovodio sebi mirisnim svijećama
koje se tope kao snovi o životu u mekšim filterima,
a uskoro će mirisi nestati kao da se nikada nisam dogodio jer,
naprotiv, nikad ne mogu mesto označiti mirisom.
Biće zauvijek utisnut i urezan u sjećanje,
ali nikad me ne možeš naći.
Hoće ki te biti briga?
I povući me nazad?
Tjeraj me da pijem slatki čaj i jedem kolač od vanile,
sa cimetom- slađim od moje nostalgije,
i dubljim od melanholije.
Vodi me kroz ovo.

Kad padne kiša- niču, puštajući Nevidljivu, preslatku ljubav. Blistali su, sijajući kroz mračne trenutke:
daljina i slatka, mirisna ljubav što počiva na laticama.

Ljubav ispisana na laticama: mnogi su došli,
zagledani u napisanu ljubav na laticama.
Divili su se i pitali se:
kakva ljubav, ispisana na laticama?

Šta je ispravno, a šta pogrešno?
Nikad ne znamo da li naša nepravda može biti ispravna,
a naša pravda pogrešna.

Ko smo ?

Politički vrat?
Razmjena obećanja za glas?

Šta smo mi?
Skakavci koji su napali sopstveni habitat, sjekući drveće da bi zaradili novac;

ali ti to znaš:
priroda nema cijenu na rokovima trajanja.

Da li smo mi naša tijela?

Svježi?

Odmjeravanje ravnoteže života između iglene ose bola i zadovoljstva?

Možda smo
Duh?
Od kojeg je religija svoju svestranost stavila u doktrine čoveka, čija je mudrost napeta nit čistih Božjih misli…

Da li smo mi internet?
Hranimo li se memovima, modom,
ažuriranjima fudbala, vijestima o ratu i politici?

Možda smo priroda?

Dio prašine koji ulazi u naše nozdrve i kašalj:
je li to zvuk kojem idemo?

Tlo je, bez tebe, zlo.
Zemlja i duša- zajedno su prah.

Ako smo samo tlo, onda je to knjiga
i naša era je zadnje poglavlje.

Možda smo eksperiment u epruveti,
pa vanzemaljci ispituju i eksperimentišu, testirajući krajeve neznanja,
pokušavajući spoznati granice elementa koji se zove um?

Možda smo svi likovi u romanu,

svako sa svojim scenarijem ili sa strane,
ali: da li autor uživa u siromaštvu, gladi i ratu
na svojim stranicama?

Pretpostavljam da se svaki pisac trudi
da zabavi svoju publiku ne razmišljajući o likovima!

Možda, možda, možda ..

Možda smo mi film:
veliki bioskop zvani život. Siromašni svi glume, bogati svi glume…

Možda ne čitaš moju pjesmu.
Možda sanjaš ili ne, zar ima razlike?

Ti samo vjeruješ svojoj svijesti,

Živa svjetla postaće zamorna,

SMRT U JESENjOJ KOLIJEVCI

Svaka zima se sretne sa decembrom koji jede čudna jela.
Ovdje je nova decenija.

Proljeće je prostrlo zavjesu od drveća
i vrijebalo čovjeka na njegovom krevetu…
Sunce mu zalazi na leđa i sviće kroz krvni pritisak…
Zima je testirala njegovu invalidnost
i svake druge sezone nosila je taj imidž
u njegovoj blizini.

Sreli smo ljeto kako liže damu koja je zrela u noćnoj septičkoj jami ..
Pažljiviji pogled nam je pokazao da njen život nije vrijedan kupovine narednog dana.
Sa vlažnog leša dječaka podigao se teret snijega
i glasna visina jesenje siluete modulisana je u naduvenoj tužbalici njegove majke.

Čovjek je zaboravio zalogaj svog otiska u pustinjskom pijesku.
Poremećeno sunce je pokušavalo da ga razloži, ne obazirući se na zauzet raspored …
Regrut zimskog povjetarca jednom je označio tinejdžera
i izduvao ga u podstandardni alkotest, provjeravajući ima li etanola koji je sakrio u džepu na grudima.

Baš juče
umrla je žena, blijeda kao para- izdahnuta u zemlju.
Kovali smo njen drhtavi sarkofag u božićnom crvenilu, vezanih očiju.
I jesen je zasniježila u dobro izoštrenom bajonetu, da se igrala istine ili izazova u sopstvenoj kolijevci.

DEATH IN AUTUMN’S CRIB

Every winter meets december eating weird dishes.
it is a new decade around here.

spring heralded a curtain of trees & ambushed a man on his bed ..
the sun sets at his back & rises in his blood pressure..
winter tried his invalidity on ..
& every other season wore a disabled look around him..

we met summer licking a lady ripe in a nocturnal cesspit ..
a closer look told us, her life wasn’t worth the next day’s purchase..
a burden of snow was lifted from the wet corpse of a little boy..
& the loud pitch of autumn’s silhouette was modulated in the bloated dirge his mother inks..

a man forgot a morsel of his footprint on a desert sand..
the deranged sun scampered to decay it, not minding it’s busy schedule..
a recruit of winter’s breeze once flagged a teenager down..
& pulverized him into a sub standard breathalyzer, checking for the ethanol he hid in his breast pocket..

just yesterday..
a woman died, pale as a vapour exhaled into the earth..
we forged her shivering sarcophagus in crimsons of a blindfolded yuletide..
& autumn came snowed in well sharpened bayonet, to play the truth or dare game in her crib.

Rano sam naučio da kažem “izvini”,

kako rađa ljubav, povjerenje je sveto.
Kako je mapiran uzorak, poniznost.
Izvinio bih se zbog grešaka kojih se ne sjećam. Zar to nije pogrešno?

Ponekad sam se saginjao da bih brinuo,

Neostvareni snovi nisu bitni,

Neki bakropisi i neki svrab
bili su poput skrivanja tijela u kosmosu
tame i
zaogrnuše tvoju kožu prolaznim sijenkama.
Najsnažniji, koji drži vodu,
sada izlazi iz sopstvene kože;
jer izgubiti radost znači vidjeti život kao gosta,
vidjeti kako Smrt postaje domaćin
kako sam postaješ prikaz tame:
jer ne nosiš drugi oblik osim vode,
slušajući otrovne melodije
i pazeći na svoje snove,
provaljujući u oskudne stvari.

Neki bakropisi i neki svrab
bili su izgrebane posude neuslišenih molitvi:
pretvarajući se u puderaste očnjake svojih svakodnevnih bolova
koji oči boje u crveno
svaki put kad ih nosiš na licu.
I tuga je otrgla
snagu tvog srca,
čineći ga preslabim za ratni neuspjeh.

ALHEMIJA IZGUBLJENIH VEZA

Ako sam ostavljena ovdje samo da bi me našli,
noć koja miluje zidove duše
otvoriće krila prije nego što se zatvori
još jedna noć- poput poklopca:
šolja za čaj će ostati prazna,
ostaće nepojedene mandarine,
hljeb će ostati – za onu prazninu nakon propadanja;
a prašina je zasluženi prostor
koji je nekad neko odsanjao.
Možda će je blagosloviti neko drugi,
doći će vriieme i za to:
da se sve ispuni, poput mračnog ponora
vječno otvorenih usana himere –
koja i ne dobija šansu uplašiti.

Ostavljena ovdje da budem nađena,
samo do tada,
dok se granice uklanjaju jedna po jedna,
vraćam alhemiju izgubljenih veza.
Svako od njih će pitati
‘Ne znam zašto sam čekao, šta me je održalo snažnim?’
Da, i ovo sam se pitala, da …
Živjela sam tačno poput njih,
poput planine:
bez korijena, moćanna, a opet krhka,
obavijena životinjskom radošću
koja se ne uklapa ni u jednu pjesmu.

THE ALCHEMY OF LOST CONNECTIONS

Alışarsan bu ahların içində,
Ruhu didən günahların içində.
Sağında mələyin ömürlük susar,

Diksinərsən ayilarsan yuxudan,
Qaranlığdan bir əl sənə toxunar.
“Yuxumu görürdün?” – deyər qadının,

Na vrlo blistav dan,
kad mi je bilo ugodno
uz pljuskove živosti,

bio sam svjedok mističnog obračuna
između Vjere i Mudrosti
pod sjenkama živog vremena.

Scenski sjaj njihovog prisustva
dok raspravljaju o njihovim konotacijama
u pustoš i raznolikost života
koji traje od zore do mraka.

Svjedočio sam sukobu
između nepomućene i komponovane Vjere
i vrlo oštre i energične Mudrosti.

Vjera je bila vrlo čvrstog stava
da život ne može opstati
na pukoj milosti mudrosti

SPAJANJE SVIH VREMENA U JEDNOJ TAČKI ČULNOG PROSTORA

Iskusno, naglo ulazeći u horizont događaja,
donijela sam odluku i povećala brzinu…
Ali, vizije bijelih rupa bile su očaravajuće,
natjeraše me da stanem kad vidjeh crvotočinu!

Strast će mi umrijeti pred Univerzumom, kako i valja,
kraj ludog broda je takođe tamo.
Sudbina će se raspršiti u čestice, i to brzo,
a energije će ići kroz sebe, nepostojano.

Snažne struje tkale su mrežu, nezgodne;
razilazeći se, poigravajući se zakrivljenošću prostora, u luku;
palile su i ubrzavale, u jednom trenutku izabravši me.
Takav misteriozni tempo bio je nezamisliv za trku!

Sunce se ugasilo, igralo do smrti i smrzavalo se,
blistave zvijezde lopov je progutao
i- potpuno oprljeni, živjeti u sumornoj mudrosti
mogli su samo bastioni crnih rupa, kao opsjenar koji je opstao.

Dakle, nauči, srce moje, o provaliji koja izaziva
usamljenu dušu, gdje su Ajnštajnovi zakoni u oluji!
Najdublja strast i moje misli su se zabavljale.
Poput nježnog poljupca, to me je odvelo evoluciji.

Znaš li neposrednost sastanka dvije sile?
Spajanje kovitlaca slično je ljubavnom transu …
Čini mi se da je galaksija neko ko se približava,
razvitak današnje privlačnosti u lakom plesu…

Came upon me with vicious vigor

I grew up in the ghetto
Where temper’s clash
Like heavy metal
Where violence and death
Are common
And how many an argument
Are settled

Where most killers
Know their victims
Or money is
The reaper’s reason
Where poverty produces tensions
And summertime
Is a killing season

When Black and poor
Are synonymous
The repercussions
May seem ominous,
But I was blessed
With brief escapes
From my pistol wielding

My father lived
In the suburbs
And I would visit
Every other weekend
Where grass and trees
Are common,
And we believed

Where fresh air

Fictitious veil
Of superficial pleasantries

Excitement was an understatement

My Aunt Pat,
She was my favorite

Although we weren’t

She barely had time to

Running from the car

There were slides,
And swings, and other kids

I ran behind one
It seemed like some fun,
But I couldn’t hear

VOTING RULES:

In Duel 8, all authors from the rest of the Balkans who passed the previous selection are presented. The number of participants in Duel 8 is 25.
How the votes were counted: The ratings of the additional member of the jury (in this duel – he did not send us our votes) were added up to the average grade, and that with the grades of the President of the jury, and with the grades of the Readers and the grade of the Common Picture. The drawn average grade is summed with the grade of the Organizer and thus the final average grade is obtained on the basis of which the authors are ranked.
The President of the jury had the right to send one author directly to the Semifinals. The Presidents of the jury in this duel used that option and sent Mite Tabaku and Demetra Kintsaki directly to the next round.
In this duel, no author passed directly based on the votes of the readers. Six authors with a large number of readers’ votes was awarded a grade of 5. (By the way, according to the rules of the 3rd round, Readers awarded the 3 authors with the highest number of votes in the Third Round – direct passage to the Semifinals, and another 22 authors received a grade of 5.)
Common picture. The authors were entitled to an additional grade (5) if they sent a picture with some of the participants of the 3rd round of the Mili Dueli 2020. The goal of the pictures was to encourage social relations outside of online activities and socializing. None in this duel sent us that kind of pictures.

As you can see, I gained a positive impression for most of the poems, because, among other things, they are about the best authors that their countries have in this competition. However, I made the gradation of the grades based on the comparison of the poems, in order to respect the propositions of the contest.

ALBANIA:

MIMOZA REXHVELAJ:
“Fear overwhelms you, the end of existence.
With a gnashing of teeth, you wake up.
The sun shines on the wrinkled face, like masala after the party.
But tomorrow it will return normal again”
This is the best strophe of the poem, so I will call it a good, but passive poem. Talking about the exhausting routine of life, must have at least a bit revolte. I wish the whole poem was as good as that strophe was.

BESMIR HALITAJ: Using repeatedly rhymes in almost each verse, is boring somehow. But the poem is good. The first and last strophe give melody to the whole it.

ALBAN TUFA: Alban, it feels like a paragraph, took from a novel, because the style is too narrative for a poem. But I like it. The second part of it especially, is beautiful. Though, in this round I have to call you a narrator, not a poet.

FJODOR QORRI: In the previous round I suggested you to put order in your thoughts, and I’m glad you did. I see what inspires you is mostly the “female”, but I would like to read another theme in your poem as well. Though, “thee, the purple of my dawn”, is a pure beauty. Work on your talent and you’ll be amazing.

ZHANETA BARXHAJ: This poem is simple, Zhaneta. Everyone has cried at least once in his life. So, I’m not sure if this brings emotions. Though, your writings are pretty good.

MITE TABAKU: Mite, I really liked your dark tone in the previous round, but in this round I’m somewhere between:
“I don’t prefer/agree with inappropriate terms, when they can be replaced with other ones. At the end of the day art is subtle, and subtleness fits everything”

and

“Allen Ginsberg, a “Beat movement” poet, was so harshly judged on his book “Howl”, then due to social-normes breaking, it became accepted, even famous.”
So for one reason or another, I’ll choose the second. Your poem provokes, raises questions, evokes harshness, sadness, and subtle or not in my taste, or in someone else’s taste, the emotion and intensity is there…

ISABELA TAFILI: Original is your poem, good job, the first three strophes are perfection. But I suggest you not to jump from an area to another. You go from “small kitchen with small plates” to “sandstorm and desert”. It’s better to follow only one line. Otherwise you’re truly talented.

MATILDA MIRAKA: I expected much more from you. You have style, but you need to organize it.

FLOGERTA KRYPI: Flogerta, I’m happy about one thing. You know the rules, the discipline of art, and no matter your poem is more intense or less; more emotional or less, you still remain a poet…
“You are perfect,
especially because you will never be mine”, captured my attention a bit more.

KOSOVO:
INDIRA HOXHA: I hardly find a message in your poem.

AGIM DESKU: Here you go again with Titanic, Agim. Pirates, Europe, Albania, David, Kumrie Shala, Grabovic, Venetian…
For God’s sake, gimme a break…

AJNE IBERHYSAJ: What I did read was a mess, and I’m not sure if there’s a meaning.

ARIANA BYTYQI: I wasn’t disappointed by you, Ariana, in the previous round, and nor I am in this one. Good poem.

ROMANIA:
DANU FLORENTINA: Your “another mood” gave me a soft, quiet and peaceful mood, while reading it.

LAURA IONESCU: Unnecessary prolonged, but not bad!

GREECE:
ILIAS FOUKIS: The meaning of it is alright, but Antarctica, Sahara, Himalayan, and geography itself brings no emotions into a poem…

DEMETRA KINTSAKI: It’s a bit childish your poem, dear, but you’re too young. You will change the focus of your inspiration. Good luck on your journey.

Život ponekad zapne iza tebe
poput trnja, iza kose
a ne nestaje.

Neka, kad si došao na pogrešno mjesto!

Ja ne znam kako
niti zašto
život postavlja zamke,
zamke iz ničega.
Pasivni mišići tijela
odjednom, ožive
otkrivajući drugi ego,
žutu boju
koju topla sezona održi skrivenom.

Mišići vrata napinju se,
ovaj put ne nosim teg,
ali vidim jasno.
Perspektiva je iluzija,
to se drvo smanjilo desetine puta,
to je iluzija, pa to je i put,
mlin, sazvježđe svjetova koji čekaju da budu otkriveni …
Takav je i prst koji pokazuje na njih.

Strah te obuzima, kraj je postojanja.

MOJ OTAC

I
Prije sam vjerovao da je moj otac div,
jedini čovjek kojem je svijet bio podložan,
nepravde su se neprestano slamale o njega.
Civilizacija se dizala i padala pod njegovom sjenom
koliko mi je puta pao na pamet u razgovorima sa prijateljima.
Otac sa snažnim mišićima podlaktice
tim istim rukama te diže u nebo
a sunce jednom rukom, ako želi, on pomjera.
Taj čovjek mi je želje ispunjavao poput duha
svaki put kad bi se vraćao iz Grčke,
sa tog drevnog mjesta mitova.
Laži poput bakinih priča,
dražile su moje fantazije
i nedostatke ljubavi u meni
nadopunile tankim nitima koje su dijelile dječiju virtualnost od stvarnog svijeta.
Moj otac se promijenio,
mišići nestaju, razgrađuju se svakodnevno
zajedno sa sjećanjem na bakine priče
nestaju i njegove natprirodne sposobnosti.
Više nije u stanju da mi ispuni želje.
Ne ide u Grčku,
galopirajućim potpeticama ne stiže mi
i više ne raspršuje silom vlastite mitove.
Zbog svega ovoga on se plaši
i tresući žestoke cigarete
njemu se dodaju godine i zemljište koje sije,
i sve je tako užurbanije
koliko svaki otkucaj njegove žile ukazuje na neslaganje sa sobom.
Sada mu sve budi uspomenu,
poslije svakog sjećanja slijedi vrlo duga priča.
U školjci on sada gradi svoju virtualnost,
da bi pobjegao od starenja.
I ja sam se promijenio.
Mitovi mi ništa ne znače,
imun sam na fantazije.
Moje želje su sve manje
pošto otac više ne može da me vodi
pod suncem koje nikada nije promijenilo svoj tok.
Znanje oca više me ne iznenađuje
nijedno me znanje više ne iznenađuje
i zato bih često da protestujem.
Pročitao sam knjigu svijeta koji mi ne pripada,
promijenjene su okolnosti i napisana je priča
sa subjektima koji se otimaju da ih pamtim:
ali glavni lik mog života je moj otac,
s tim da kraj uvijek ostaje kontroverzan.
Ovako vam ja gradim veliki kineski zid,
od svojih virtualnih svjetova.

Uvjeren sam da se demoni i anđeli kriju u promjeni
sa ili bez detalja,
u ovom svijetu isprepletenom stvarnošću
između sna i zvijezde,
pamćenja i želja,
nada i razočarenja
koji sadašnjost vežu poput snopova slame
kroz polja moga oca.

Dikur besoja që im atë ishte gjigant,
i vetmi burrë para të cilit nënshtrohej bota,
prajshëm thërrmoheshin padrejtësitë.
Qytetërimi ngrihej e shembej nën hijen tij
sa herë më tekej mua ndër biseda mes shokësh.
Babai me muskujt e parakrahut të fortë
që të çon hopa në qiell
dhe diellin me një dorë, po të dojë, e lëviz.
Im atë që plotësonte dëshirat si xhind
sa herë kthehej nga Greqia,
nga ai vend i lashtë mitesh.
Të tilla gënjeshtra si përrallat e gjysheve,
stimuj fantazie
a dashuri të mangëta
plotësojnë fijet e holla që ndajnë virtualitetin fëmijëror nga bota.
Tashmë im atë ka ndryshuar,
muskujt i shemben ngapak e përditë
së bashku me qytetërimet e hershme,
aftësitë e mbinatyshme.
S’është më në gjendje të plotësojë dëshirat.
Nuk shkon në Greqi,
takati i rend me galop për te sosja
duke i zhbërë mitet e veta me përdhunë.
Për të gjitha këto ai proteston
duke i dredhur çigaret më të ngjeshura
përvit duke i shtuar tokat që mbjell,
çiftelisë i bie më ngutshëm
sa çdo rrahjet teli dëfton mospajtimin me veten.
Tash çdo gjësend i ndjell një kujtim,
çdo kujtim pasohet nga në një histori shumë gjatë.
Me të tilla kelçka im atë e ndërton virtualitetin e vet,
që e shmang gjithë e më shumë nga plakja.
Edhe unë kam ndryshuar.
Nuk më shtojnë kurrgjë mitet,
këta situmuj fantazie në mendjen time tashetutje imune,
dëshirat i kam gjithë e më të cekëta
meqë s’ka bir nëne të më çojë hopa
nën diellin që s’e ndryshoi kurrë kursin e vet.
Dijet e tim eti nuk më befasojnë më
kurrfarë dijeje s’më befason
dhe për këtë protestoj.
Lexoj ndonjë libër të një bote që s’më përket,
ndryshoj rrethanat dhe shkruaj ndonjë tregim
me subjekte që ia vjedh kujtesës:
personazhi kryesor shumë herë im atë,
me fundin që mbetet përherë i diskutueshëm.
Kësisoj e ndërtoj atë murë të madh kinez,
të botëve të mia virtuale.

Bindem që djajtë dhe ëngjëjt fshihen te ndryshimi
me ose pa detaje,
në këtë botë me realitete të ndërthurura
mes ëndrrës dhe zhgjëndrës,

LJUBIČASTA ZORA MOJA

Ljubičasta zora istopila se zajedno s ljubičastom lavandom.
Baš kao što tvoje usne podsjećaju na nokte od ruža

Objava MILI DUELI 2020: Third round results – DUEL 8 – Albania, Greece, Kosovo, Romania and Slovenia pojavila se prvi puta na Mili Dueli.

MILI DUELI 2020: Rezultati 2. kruga – DUEL 5 – Srbija

Mili Dueli 2020 (8. sezona) su imali 739 prijava iz 52 zemlje svijeta. Riječ je o najvećem i najpopularnijem online kontestu poezije na ovim prostoria koje već 8. godinu zaredom okuplja pjesnike regiona, a u zadnje vrijeme i svijeta. Sjedište Mili Dueli je grad Jajce, Bosna i Hercegovina. Svrha kontesta je poticanje interkulturalnog dijaloga među umjetnicima Balkana i svijeta. Budući da se radi o jednom od najosjetljviijih regiona u svijetu sa burnom prošlošću, cilj kontesta je izgradnja mostova kulture i međusobnog uvažavanja između nekad ratom zahvaćenih područja.

Kontest je tradicionalno sastavljen od 5 eliminatornih krugova.U svakom krugu se broj autora smanjuje, a u posljednjem, Petom krugu, odlučuje se i pobjednik sistemom glasanja baziranom na bodovnom sistemu Eurovision Song Contest. Glavno odgovorno lice kontesta je Nermin Delić, idejni tvorac i organizator kontesta. Mili Dueli već 8 godina zaredom okupljaju autore i šire utjecaj poezije u svakodnevnici.

Ukratko o Prvom krugu: Selekciju svih pristigli prijava (739) je vršio Nermin Delić. Organizator je odabrao 476 autora za predstavljanje u Drugom krugu.

Ukratko o Drugom krugu: Nakon selekcije u Prvom krugu od strane organizatora kontesta, Nermina Delića, odabrano je 476 autora koji su predstavljeni u Drugom krugu. U Drugom krugu, autori su svrstani u 12 duela, prema državama iz kojih dolaze. Zbog brojnosti učesnika, Bosna i Hercegovina je imala 2 duela (DUEL 1, DUEL 2), a Srbija 3 (DUEL 3, DUEL 4, DUEL 5). Hrvatska, Crna Gora, Sjeverna Makedonija i Bugarska su imale zasebno po jedan duel (DUEL 6, DUEL 7, DUEL 8, DUEL 9). Zbog malobrojnosti učesnika, u jednom duelu su predstavljeni autori iz Albanije, Grčke, Kosova, Rumunije i Slovenije (DUEL 10). Pjesnici sa balkanskim korijenima, ali sa trenutnim prebivalištem van Balkana, svrstani su zajedno u jedan duel (DUEL 11). Na kraju, svi autori koji dolaze iz vanbalkanskih zemalja, svrstani su u jedan duel (DUEL 12).

Početak predstavljanja duela na zvaničnom Facebook profilu Milih Duela je bio 12. juli, 2020. godine. Dueli su predstavljani redoslijedom, na svaka 2-3 ili 4 dana shodno obimu duela. Prvih 15 dana od predstavljanja duela, pratioci Milih Duela su mogli glasati u komentarima upisivanjem rednog broja autora ispod slike gdje u opisu predstavljena njegova pjesma. Pored čitalaca, glasali su i članovi žirija, sastavljeni od 12 renomiranih i za Mile Duele važnih umjetnika Balkana. Oni su vršili odabir 90% autora koji će proći u Treći krug. Ostalih 10% je predviđeno za glasove čitalaca, za one koje žiri nije odabrao, a imaju veliku podršku svojih prijatelja i pratilaca Mili Dueli.

REZULTATI

DUEL 5 – SRBIJA

PRAVILA DUELA: U Duelu 5 su predstavljeni svi odabrani autori iz Srbije koji su rođeni od 2001. – 2004. godine. Broj učesnika Duela 5 je 15. Duel 5 srbijanskih autora nakon Drugog kruga ima 5 autora. Predsjednik žirija je birao 3 autora, dodatni član žirija bira 1 autora, dok čitaoci svojim glasovima biraju, također, 1 autora.

Kako se glasalo? Prvobitnu selekciju je vršio Predsjednik žirija. Dakle, on je od svih ponuđenih autora u duelu, odabrao 3. najuspješnijih, na osnovu svog suda. Nakon što su rezultati glasanja Predsjednika žirija (1) stigli, Dodatni član žirija (2) je od autora koje nije odabrao predsjednik, odabrao onoliki broj autora koliko mu pravila kontesta nalažu (30%). Nakon toga, autorima koji ni tu selekciju nisu prošli, pregledani su glasovi Čitalaca (3) i odabrano je, po odluci čitalaca koji su ispoštovali pravila glasanja, dodatnih 10 % autora, koliko pravila kontesta nalažu.

Čitaoci su glasali u komentaru ispod 3 postavljenih slika u kojima je predstavljeno ukupno 15 pjesma ovog duela. Organizator je pregledao sve komentare, na svim slikama ovog duela i shodno pravilima odabrao 2 autora sa najvećim brojem validnih glasova.

ŠTA SADA?

AUTORI KOJI SU PROŠLI u sljedeći krug Milih Duela, bit će na Facebooku privatnom porukom u inboks obaviješteni o slanju pjesme za Treći krug.

Treći krug će početi u septembru, a precizan datum sa pravilima daljnje selekcije pjesama će objaviti organizator u sljedećih nekoliko dana. Molimo za strpljenje!

AUTORI KOJI NISU PROŠLI u sljedeći krug Milih Duela, dakle, koji su ostali u TOP 500, dobit će elektronsko priznanje za sudjelovanje budući da su svojim učešćem predstavljali svoje zemlje, te će shodno tome dobiti priznanje za interkulturalni dijalog balkanskih zemalja i zemalja svijeta u kojem su učestovali.

Sve predstavljene pjesme će biti zastupljene u zajedničkom elektronskom zborniku koji će, po svemu sudeći, imati i svoje štampano izdanje (ljeto, 2021.), kada nas očekuje MILI DUELI BALKAN TOUR.

Također, svi autori koji su 2000. godište ili mlađi, će biti predstavljeni na MILI DUELI JUNIOR ONLINE POETRY CONTEST koji će startati par dana nakon završteka osme sezone Mili Dueli 2020 – Online Balkan Poetry Contest!

KOMENTARI ŽIRIJA

Predsjednik žirija: LJUBICA PETROVIĆ KOSOR

Nije bilo lako izdvojiti tri pjesme, između ovoliko lijepe poezije, sličnih kvaliteta. Tim više što su u pitanju mladi, pjesnikinje i pjesnici. Može se učiniti nekome od njih, da je nepravedno eliminisan, ali pravila su takva: Ja mogu odabrati samo troje za prolazak u sledeći krug.
Kratko ću reći nešto o odabranim pjesmama i prokomentarisati još neke koje su ostavile utisak na mene.

ZALAZAK SUNCA SREDOM
Poezija koja priliči devetnaestogodišnjakinji. Pomalo od svega, iz života, iz ljubavi, pomalo filozofiranja, sa željom da se kaže što više.Možda je baš u tome pogreška jer je pjesma bespotrebno dugačka, pa postoji rizik da ne drži pažnju čitaoca.
Ipak, sve to, pomalo haotično i bez nekog reda “nabacano”, sa povremenim pokušajem nedefinisane rime, meni se, na neki neobjašnjiv način dopalo. Mogla bi ovo biti lijepa poezija, uz izvjesne korekcije. Zato mislim de Ani treba dati šansu, da ide dalje.

MRZIM, DAKLE VOLIM

…volim, dakle postojim! Lubav je srž postojanja. Ko od nas nije ovako volio, ovako slatko mrzio i patio? Od ljubavi do mržnje, samo nit. Ili je to samo foliranje, da se od sebe ili od onog drugog, sakrije zaljubljenost, da se sakrije jačina ljubavi, za koju se plašimo da neće biti uzvraćena istom snagom. Pjesma je kao igra, toplo hladno, puna zaokreta, jasno i lagano napisana.I na kraju, poentiranje, priznanjem :
A najvise mrzim što sve ovo volim
I što mi sve ovo prija
Kao nikad pre.

ŠTO JE ŽIVOT?

Zna li čovjek na početku života, što je to život, kako se živi život i što ga sve u životu čeka? Bilo mi je zanimljivo čitati Bojanine stihove. Dobro savladana teorija. Ne sunjam da će i praksa biti na nivou. Dopada mi se što je u pomoć pozvala iskustvo. Starca, koji se života naživio i može podijelit dobre savjete. Dopada mi se i što je pjesma optimistična. Dopada mi se i ova atipična rima kojom je začinila stihove. Imam primjedbu na nekoliko pravopisnih greščica, koje, međutim, ne utiču na kvalitet i nijesu mi mnogo zasmetale.

Pored odabranih, moram se osvrnuti i na sledeće pjesme:

KORIJENI ZAJEDNIČKOG CVIJETA, Belme Husović.
Lijepa ljubavna rima. Volim rimu ali danas je sve manje ima. Jasna misao, bez viška riječi, opisa i poređenja. Dvanaest stihova, sasvim dovoljno da se iskaže suština i da pjesma ne bude smorna.

KAVEZ, Marina Milošević

Pjesma mi je privukla pažnju interesantnim poimanjem ljubavi, slobode ,sreće. Pitam se, kako to da postoji neko ko je slobodan i srećan u kavezu? Koja to ptica, čak i u zlatnoj krletci, može veselo da pjeva o sreći? Pjesma je, bez sumnje, dopadljiva, ali poruka koju nosi je, po mom mišljenju upitna. Ipak i ovo je jedna od pjesama koja nije prošla nezapaženo.

MOJA LJUBAV TVOJA MRŽNJA, Aleksandar Bošković
Tehnički dobro odrađena pjesma. Vjerovatno mladi pjesnik zna nešto što mi ne znamo, dočim mu je san ovako jeziv i zastrašujući. Zaintrigirala me jasnoća slika koje tako živopisno prikazuje u svom snu- polusnu. I ovo su stihovi koji nas ne ostavljaju ravnodušnima.

Dragi autori,
Prije svega, čestitke svima na sudjelovanju. Nijedno od vas nisam odabrao bez razloga, već sam u obimnoj selekciji iz Prvog kruga (739 autora), baš sa vama poželio ostvariti saradnju i druženje. I zaista, ne žalim vrijeme koje sam utrošio na čitanje i prezentaciju vaših pjesama, jer me svaka naučila nečemu.

Budući da poezija podliježe kritici, što je čini vanvremenskom, drago mi je što sam osnovao najbolji mogući tim koji će raditi na njenoj selekciji. U ovom duelu je selekciju pjesama primarno je radila sjajna pjesnikinja iz Crne Gore.

Čitajući vaše pjesme, pokušao sam da pronađem originalnost na kojoj uvijek insistiram, jer samo ona može promijeniti sve. U ovom krugu primat u odabiru autora ima svakako Predsjednik žirija i njega sam zamolio da nam predstavi svoju metodologiju selekcije autora. Kada sam ja, kao Dodatni član u pitanju, u ovom krugu sam nagradio dvije grupe autora: one koji su se u svojim pjesmama istakli originalnošću izraza i one koji su poslali pjesnički zrele pjesme ali su bili itekako i društveno aktivni kada je u pitanju online komunikacija u Milim Duelima.

Za svakog autora sam napisao pojedinačno komentar, u svoju svesku, i moja je praksa uvijek bila direktno obraćanje u komentarima svakom autoru ponaosob, ali zbog privatnih obaveza (oko odbrane diplomskog rada na fakultetu), nisam bio u prilici da vam to i otkucam. No, od sljedećeg kruga, svakako da idu ustaljeni komentari, onako kako ja to uvijek i radim.

Mili Duels 2020 – online Balkan poetry contest, in the First Round gathered 739 registered authors from 52 countries. The contest was inspired by the idea of Nermin Delic, and this time he presented an interesting concept from the very beginning. In the first round, which lasted from June 1 to June 30, 2020, the organizer of the contest Nermin Delic had the task to review all applications and select approximately 500 applications that will be presented to the jury and readers of Mili Duel on the social network Facebook.

On July 4, 2020, the list of selected authors that will be presented in the Second Round of Mili Dueli 2020 was published. According to the list compiled by the organizer, 477 authors were selected for the further course of the contest. It is time to introduce you to the organization of the Second Round, which will include selected authors.

ORGANIZATION OF THE SECOND ROUND

The poem of the Second Round? In the Second Round, the authors will be presented with ONE POEM from the application they sent to participate in the Mili Dueli 2020 and which has already been revised by the organizer Nermin Delic, during the First Round. Since two poems were sent in the application for participation, the organizer, after reading each author, assessed which poem would bring greater success to the author and chose that poem to participate in the Second Round. So, for the Second Round, the authors do not send new poems, but present themselves with one poem that they originally sent in the application for participation in the contest.

In the Second Round of Mili Dueli 2020, there will be a total of 477 authors, divided into 12 duels. The duels are composed on the basis of the geographical distribution of the authors, whether the authors live in the Balkans or are from the Balkan diaspora, or whether they are foreigners. For each of the 12 duels of the Second Round, a President of the Jury was appointed, and one or two Additional members of the Jury, who will perform further selection of authors.

The president of the jury is the primary selector of authors for participation in the Third Round. An additional member of the jury has a supportive and observational role during the entire judging process and in most duels, this role belongs to the organizer and the jury – consultants. The president of the jury will select 60% of the participants for the Third Round, and 30% of the participants will choose an additional member of the jury, while 10% of the participants will be chosen by the Readers with their votes.

The Balkan countries with the highest number of applications (Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia) will have several national duels each, while Croatia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria will have one separate national duel each. Authors from other countries were subsequently assigned.

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Due to the large number of applications from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the host country of Mili Dueli 2020, the selected participants of the Second Round from this country were divided into two duels: DUEL 1 and DUEL 2.

DUEL 1 – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Part 1

Duel 1 will present all selected authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina who were born between 1945 and 1990. The number of participants in Duel 1 is 41.

Duel 2 will present all selected authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina who were born between 1991 and 2007. The number of participants in Duel 2 is 40.

Both duels of Bosnian authors will have 20 authors after the Second Round. The president of the jury chooses 12 authors, an additional member of the jury chooses 6 authors, while the readers choose 4 authors with their votes.

In total, there will be 40 authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Third Round. In the Third Round, they will face the final selection for the last two rounds – Semifinals (Fourth Round) and Finals (Fifth Round).

SERBIA

Participants from Serbia, due to the largest number of received and selected applications, will be presented through three duels: DUEL 3, DUEL 4 and DUEL 5.

In total, there will be 55 authors from Serbia in the Third Round. In the Third Round, they will face the final selection for the last two rounds – Semifinals (Fourth Round) and Finals (Fifth Round).

Participants from Croatia will be presented in one duel, DUEL 6. The number of participants in the duel is 48.

DUEL 10 of Slovenian, Albanian, Greek, Romanian and Kosovo authors will have 20 authors after the Second Round. Due to the number of countries participating in this duel, the national principle applies, during which no more than 50% of the authors of these participants can be eliminated in the Second Round.

A total of 20 authors from Slovenia, Albania, Romania, Greece and Kosovo will be in the Third Round. In the Third Round, they will face the final selection for the last two rounds – Semifinals (Fourth Round) and Finals (Fifth Round).

DUEL 11 – Balkan diaspora

Diaspora participants will be represented in one duel, DUEL 11. The number of duel participants is 24.

A total of 15 authors from the Diaspora will be in the Third Round. In the Third Round, they will face the final selection for the last two rounds – Semifinals (Fourth Round) and Finals (Fifth Round). In the third round, the name of the 5 best authors from the Diaspora will be found out, who will represent it in the semifinals and finals of Mili Dueli 2020.

DUEL 12 – Non-Balkan countries

Participants from non-Balkan countries represent participants from the rest of Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America and Australia. Due to the small number of selected applications, they will be presented in one duel, DUEL 12. The number of participants in the duel is 62.

DUEL 12 non-Balkan countries will have 35 authors after the Second Round. The president of the jury chooses 21 authors, an additional member of the jury chooses 11 authors, while the readers choose 3 authors with their votes. Due to the large number of countries participating in this duel, the continental principle applies, during which no more than 50% of authors from a certain continent can drop out in the Second Round.

There will be a total of 35 authors from non-Balkan countries in the Third Round. In the Third Round, they will face the final selection for the last two rounds – Semifinals (Fourth Round) and Finals (Fifth Round). In the Third Round, the name of the 15 best authors from these countries will be found out, who will represent her in the semifinals and finals of Mili Duel 2020.

TYPE OF VOTING OF JURY AND READERS

How does the jury vote?

The president of the jury and an additional member of the jury vote, traditionally, in the web-survey system, where they will be presented with all the songs by the authors of those duels in the Second Round that they are judging. Voting is based on the principle of selection, that is, the selection of authors who go further, through the selection of the YES / NO option depending on their decision of the jury. The president of the jury votes first in a few days, and after sending the results, an additional member of the jury votes and subsequently supplements the list of authors who passed.

How do readers vote?

Readers’ voting is via the social network Facebook, where, in the description of the picture, the participants will be presented with their poems. Votes are counted only from friends or followers of the Facebook profile Nermin Delić (Mili Dueli), where the poems will be published, so if you are not, follow our profile or send us a friend request, to ensure the correct voting in time. Voting will be in the COMMENT below the picture in which the author is presented in the description under a certain ordinal number. The manner of voting is to type in the comment ORDER NUMBER of the author, which will be assigned to him in the description of the posted picture.

The duels of the Second Round will be published gradually on the social network Facebook, therefore, not all duels will be published on the day of the beginning of the Second Round of Mili Dueli (July 12). However, from July 12, the jury will be provided with links to the author’s poems, so that the voting of all members of the jury, all duels of the Second Round, will start on July 12. When it comes to readers, they will have equal voting time for each of the 12 duels, because voting for duels that started before will end sooner.

SECOND ROUND END DATE: (not defined, but what is certain is that the Second Round will last approximately one month)

A total of 250 authors are going to the Third Round. The selection will continue according to the established rules for the Third Round, and the organization of the Third Round will be presented at the end of the Second Round.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

All authors who are 2001 or younger, regardless of the result in Mili Duel 2020, will be subsequently invited to a new project of Mili Dueli, dedicated to young poets. The project will start with the realization in the autumn, after the completion of Mili Dueli 2020.
All authors participating in the Second Round who do not make it to the Third Round will subsequently be awarded for their participation and contribution to the international cooperation of artists in the Mili Dueli project, during the 2020 season.

ORGANIZACIJA DRUGOG KRUGA

Pjesma Drugog kruga? U Drugom krugu autori će biti predstavljeni sa po JEDNOM PJESMOM iz prijave koju su poslali za učešće u Mili Dueli 2020 i koja je već revidirana od strane organizatora Nermina Delića, tokom Prvog kruga. Pošto se u prijavi za učešće slalo po dvije pjesme, organizator je nakon čitanja svakog autora, procijenio koja pjesma bi donijela veći uspjeh autoru i tu je pjesmu odabrao za učešće u Drugom krugu. Dakle, za Drugi krug, autori ne šalju nove pjesme, već se predstavljaju sa jednom pjesmom koju su prvobitno poslali u prijavi za učešće na kontestu.

U Drugom krugu Mili Dueli 2020 naći će se ukupno 477 autora, podijeljenih u 12 duela. Dueli su sastavljeni na osnovu geografske rasprostranjenosti autora, da li autori žive na Balkanu ili su balkanska dijaspora, ili se, pak, radi o strancima. Svakom od ukupno 12 duela Drugog kruga, imenovan je Predsjednik žirija, te po jedan ili dva Dodatna člana žirija, koji će vršiti dalju selekciju autora.

Predsjednik žirija je prevashodni selektor autora za učešće u Trećem krugu. Dodatni član žirija ima suportivnu i opservacionu ulogu u toku cijelog procesa žiriranja i u većini duela, ta uloga pripada samom organizatoru i žiriju – konsultantima. Predsjednik žirija će odabrati 60% učesnika za Treći krug, a 30% učesnika bira dodatni član žirija, dok 10% učesnika biraju Čitaoci svojim glasovima.

Raspored duela

Balkanske zemlje sa najvećim brojem prijava (Bosna i Hercegovina i Srbija) će imati po nekoliko svojih nacionalnih duela, dok će Hrvatska, Crna Gora, Sjeverna Makedonija i Bugarska imati po jedan zasebni nacionalni duel. Autori iz ostalih zemalja su naknadno raspoređeni.

BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA

Zbog obimnosti broja prijava iz Bosne i Hercegovine, zemlje domaćina Mili Dueli 2020, odabrani učesnici Drugog kruga iz ove zemlje su podijeljeni u dva duela: DUEL 1 i DUEL 2.

DUEL 1 – Bosna i Hercegovina – Dio 1

U Duelu 1 će biti predstavljeni svi odabrani autori iz Bosne i Hercegovine koji su rođeni od 1945. – 1990. godine. Broj učesnika Duela 1 je 41.

U Duelu 2 će biti predstavljeni svi odabrani autori iz Bosne i Hercegovine koji su rođeni od 1991. – 2007. godine. Broj učesnika Duela 2 je 40.

Oba duela bosanskohercegovačkih autora će nakon Drugog kruga imati po 20 autora. Predsjednik žirija bira 12 autora, dodatni član žirija bira 6 autora, dok čitaoci svojim glasovima biraju 2 autora.

Ukupno iz Bosne i Hercegovine, u Trećem krugu će biti 40 autora. U Trećem krugu ih očekuje finalno selekcioniranje za posljednja dva kruga – Polufinale (Četvrti krug) i Finale (Peti krug). U Trećem krugu će se saznati ime 15 najboljih autora iz Bosne i Hercegovine koji će je predstavljati u polufinalu i finalu Mili Dueli 2020.

SRBIJA

Učesnici iz Srbije, zbog najvećeg broja pristiglih i odabranih prijava, bit će predstavljeni kroz tri duela: DUEL 3, DUEL 4 i DUEL 5.

DUEL 5 srbijanskih autora će nakon Drugog kruga imati 5 autora. Predsjednik žirija bira 3 autora, dodatni član žirija i čitaoci biraju po 1 autora.

Ukupno iz Srbije, u Trećem krugu će biti 55 autora. U Trećem krugu ih očekuje finalno selekcioniranje za posljednja dva kruga – Polufinale (Četvrti krug) i Finale (Peti krug). U Trećem krugu će se saznati ime 20 najboljih autora iz Srbije koji će je predstavljati u polufinalu i finalu Mili Dueli 2020.

DUEL 6 – Hrvatska

Učesnici iz Hrvatske, bit će predstavljeni u jednom duelu, DUELU 6. Broj učesnika duela je 48.

Učesnici iz Albanije, Grčke, Kosova, Rumunije i Slovenije, bit će predstavljeni u jednom duelu, DUELU 10. Broj učesnika duela je 38, od čega su 13 autora iz Albanije, 4 autora iz Grčke, 7 autora sa Kosova, 4 autora iz Rumunije i 5 autora iz Slovenije.

DUEL 10 slovenačkih, albanskih, grčkih, rumunskih i kosovskih autora će nakon Drugog kruga imati 20 autora. Predsjednik žirija bira 12 autora, dodatni član žirija bira 6 autora, dok čitaoci svojim glasovima biraju 2 autora. Zbog brojnosti država učesnica ovog duela, važi nacionalni princip, prilikom kojeg ne može više od 50% autora navedenih učesnica ispasti u Drugom krugu.

Ukupno iz Slovenije, Albanije, Rumunije, Grčke i Kosova u Trećem krugu će biti 20 autora. U Trećem krugu ih očekuje finalno selekcioniranje za posljednja dva kruga – Polufinale (Četvrti krug) i Finale (Peti krug). U Trećem krugu će se saznati ime 10 najboljih autora iz ovih zemalja koji će je predstavljati u polufinalu i finalu Mili Dueli 2020.

DUEL 11 – Balkanska dijaspora

DUEL 12 – Vanbalkanske zemlje

Učesnici iz Vanbalkanskih zemalja, predstavljaju učesnike iz ostatka Evrope, Afrike, Azije, Sjeverne i Južne Amerike i Australije. Zbog malobrojnosti odabranih prijava, bit će predstavljeni u jednom duelu, DUELU 12. Broj učesnika duela je 62.

DUEL 12 vanbalkanskih zemalja će nakon Drugog kruga imati 35 autora. Predsjednik žirija bira 21 autora, dodatni član žirija bira 11 autora, dok čitaoci svojim glasovima biraju 3 autora. Zbog brojnosti država učesnica ovog duela, važi kontinentalni princip, prilikom kojeg ne može više od 50% autora sa određenog kontinenta ispasti u Drugom krugu.

Ukupno iz vanbalkanskih zemalja u Trećem krugu će biti 35 autora. U Trećem krugu ih očekuje finalno selekcioniranje za posljednja dva kruga – Polufinale (Četvrti krug) i Finale (Peti krug). U Trećem krugu će se saznati ime 15 najboljih autora iz ovih zemalja koji će je predstavljati u polufinalu i finalu Mili Dueli 2020.

NAČIN GLASANJA ŽIRIJA I ČITALACA

Kako glasa žiri?

Predsjednik žirija i dodatni član žirija glasaju, već tradicionalno, u webanketnom sistemu, gdje će im biti predstavljene sve pjesme autora učesnika onih duela u Drugom krugu koje oni žiriraju. Glasanje je bazirano na principu selekcije, to jeste biranja autora koji prolaze dalje, kroz odabir opcije DA / NE u zavisnosti od njihove odluke žirija. Predsjednik žirija glasa prvi kroz nekoliko dana, a po slanju rezultata, dodatni član žirija glasa i naknadno dopunjuje listu autora koji su prošli.

Kako glasaju čitaoci?

Glasanje čitalaca je putem društvene mreže Facebook, gdje će, u opisu slike, biti predstavljeni učesnici sa svojim pjesmama. Glasovi se broje samo od pratilaca / prijatelja profila Nermin Delić (Mili Dueli), na kojem će i biti postavljeni dueli, stoga, ukoliko niste, zapratite naš profil ili nam pošaljite zahtjev za prijateljstvo, da biste na vrijeme osigurali ispravnost glasanja. Glasat će se u KOMENTAR ispod slike na kojoj je u opisu predstavljen autor pod određenim rednim brojem. U komentar se upisuje REDNI BROJ autora koji će mu biti dodijeljen u opisu slike.

Dueli Drugog kruga će biti objavljeni postupno na društvenoj mreži Facebook, dakle, neće svi dueli biti objavljeni na dan početka Drugog kruga Milih Duela (12. jula). Međutim, od 12. jula, žiriju će biti proslijeđeni linkovi sa pjesmama autora, tako da glasanje svih članova žirija, svih duela Drugog kruga, starta od 12. jula. Kada su čitaoci u pitanju, oni će za svaki od 12 duela, imati jednako vijeme za glasanje, jer će glasanja za duele koji su prije počeli, prije i završiti.

U Treći krug odlazi ukupno 250 autora. Selekcija će se dalje nastaviti po utvrđenim pravilima za Treći krug, a sama organizacija Trećeg kruga će biti predstavljena po završetku Drugog kruga.

VAŽNE NAPOMENE:

Svi autori koji su 2001. godište ili mlađi će, bez obzira na rezultat u Mili Dueli 2020, biti naknadno pozvani u novi projekt Milih Duela, posvećen mladim pjesnicima. Projekt će početi sa realizacijom na jesen, po završetku Mili Dueli 2020.
Svim autorima učesnicima Drugog kruga koji ne ostvare prolaz u Treći krug, naknadno će biti dodijeljena priznanja za učešće i doprinos međunarodnoj saradnji umjetnika u projektu Mili Dueli, tokom sezone 2020.
Rezultati Drugog kruga će biti objavljeni na zvaničnoj web-stranici Milih Duela.

Applications for the eighth season of the most popular online Balkan poetry contest, Mili Duelli, ended on June 1, 2020. In the period from February 20, 2020 to May 31 of the same year, the call for applications was open. As a reminder, authors of poetry could apply for the competition, regardless of age, race and ethnicity. For authors under the age of 14, parental cooperation or permission, is also required. Applications were open at a total of 4 links (3 Google surveys and 1 Webanketa), and were adapted to different languages (Bosnian, Bulgarian and English).
Participation in the competition did not imply any financial compensation, therefore, applications are completely free.

Application flow. The authors had 100 days to apply. Within 24 hours from the announcement of the competition, 103 applications arrived. On the fifth day of the competition, the 200th application arrived. The number of applications has been increasing day by day, and in the last two days of the competition, it has increased significantly. In the last 24 hours of the competition alone, an incredible 139 applications were received.

Ultimately, a total of 739 entries from 52 countries arrived at Mili Dueli 2020. This is also the largest number of applications for one season so far, since Mili Dueli have existed.

Promotion. The promotional campaign for applying for the contest is marketed exclusively on the social networks of the organizers and the contest, without any financial investment. News about the competition was spread through social networks, domestic and international portals that supported the project.

Application analysis. This year, the largest number of applications came from Serbia (197), and compared to the previous year, the number of applications increased by 54, which is an increase of over 20%, which we are especially proud of, since Mili Dueli have the most followers in Serbia. Almost a third (26.7%) of all entries this season come from this country, which justifies the fact that Serbia is the only country that has more than one winner in the history of Mili Dueli.
It is interesting to note that in the most controversial area in the Balkans, Kosovo, the number of applications increased from 6 to 14 compared to the previous season, which is an increase of more than 100% and a good indicator that even despite regional instability, authors with Kosovo passports respond on the competition. Therefore, the goal of the project is communication between artists, in order to tolerate the existing situation, until the best solutions are found for both parties.

As every year before, the second largest number of applications is Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the headquarters of Mili Dueli. This year, 121 applications were received from BiH, and since this is a population that has twice as small the population of Serbia, the popularity of the project is still the most intense in BiH. The number of applications in BiH is 4 per 100,000 inhabitants. In Serbia, the registration rate is 2.8 per 100,000 inhabitants. BiH had 112 applications last year.

The biggest surprise this year, in terms of the number of applications, is certainly Montenegro. Unlike last year when it had a share of 8.1% with 44 applications, now the number of applications has increased by about 80%, and the country has 76 representatives. We are also very grateful to prof. Senada Jeshevich, who invited her students to apply. In Montenegro, the registration rate is as high as 13 per 100,000 inhabitants.

This year, Croatia had 4 more applications than last year, and the application rate is 1.8 per 100,000 inhabitants.

This year, Bulgaria, with 63 applications, accounted for 8.5% of all applications. Unlike last year, the number of applications increased by about 10%. This year, as last year, it had its own unique application system exclusively in the Bulgarian language, since the interest in applications was great.

North Macedonia has 41 applications this year, two less than last year, which is within our standard deviations. The registration rate is 2 per 100,000 inhabitants.

This year, Mili Dueli have the largest increase in popularity in Albania, by almost 300%, where from last year’s 9 applications, the number of applications this year is 26. This is extremely important to us, since the Albanian language is different from the surrounding languages. communication is therefore difficult. Nevertheless, we believe that this year the English language and translations of poetry into local languages and the Albanian language will greatly improve the relationship between the artists of Albania and the region.

Slovenia has as many as 8 applications this year, which is an increase of 125% compared to last year. By the way, the popularity of Mili Duel in Slovenia is spreading more slowly compared to other countries of the former Yugoslavia.

Nigeria, as the most advanced African country, submitted a total of 16 entries to the contest. It is also a record number of applications from one African country ever, as well as a great opportunity to expand Mili Dueli to the African continent, especially in Nigeria, where English is the official language. In addition to Nigeria, for the first time from the African continent, poets from Angola, Uganda, Zambia, Morocco, Mozambique, Togo, Ghana, Kenya, and there is and last year’s finalist from Swaziland, today’s renamed state called Eswatini.

The country with the largest number of applications from the diaspora is Denmark, and it is worth mentioning Germany and Italy, where the number of applications is also noticeable.

An increase in the number of applications was also recorded in Greece and Romania, where the expansion of the Mili Dueli network is still expected. Also, applications came to us from Russia and Turkey. This year, the whole of Central Europe (except Hungary) will have its representatives in the Mili Dueli.

In Asia, the first applications were recorded from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Malaysia and China.

In South America, applications arrived for the first time from Brazil and Argentina.

Dear authors,

First of all, I would like to congratulate all the authors who applied for the Mili Dueli 2020. 739 applications! Big 739 applications, without a single stamp spent on contest promotion. And you applied from 52 countries around the world. And you speak at least as many languages together. And here we are. Poetry united us to believe. Look at these colors that act like colorful rectangles, and in fact, we’re all just looking to find our flag, because there’s something magical about these countries of ours. There is something, and it is greater than intellect and humanity. Origin. And it does not make the writer “national”, but unique and anthological. Just like flags, we are all similar, and we all have something that sets us apart from others. Instead of rejoicing in differences, rejoice in similarities; because it’s always easier when there’s someone else … someone … and something. And keep the differences in your pockets, so amaze us, when you feel different.

All my work in Mili Dueli is also based on numbers – trust, not money. Because there is something that has no price. The whole organization, from year to year, you know that it was not easy, moreover it was too demanding and can not be paid, especially if you are 20, 21, 22, … years old, when the world is so colorful and friendly to you. Yet all these years, from the 16th to the 24th, I have been with you and for you. And I’m not sorry for the time I spent on you. Who knows what a doctor of medicine I would be like if I hadn’t met all of you and if I hadn’t fallen in love with the people and the Balkans – because of you! Mili Dueli really offered something new in the Balkan culture, in the literary approach of our writers, in general … For the first time, the authors were able to apply and get the most constructive reviews I could give them for free, thanks to those who decided to help me in this mission TO GO BETTER, without leaving ourselves. And we succeeded! It’s not a shame not to know, to have a mistake, two, five, … It’s a shame to suffer for what you haven’t tried enough to edit to be tailored.

Write and read, because only a book is heavier than the mind!. And only the writer creates worlds in it, worlds that do not die and do not pass away, as we will all go through here.

In Mili Dueli, we are looking for a poet who is ready to amaze the world, not only with his/her poems, but also with his/her appearance, peculiarities and attitudes. We are looking for brave people whose goals and achievements are motivating for all of us who deal with poetry out of love and unconditionally. We enter the whole project without burden, happy and aware of our roles, so we are looking for authors who will be like that, aware not only of their achievements but also of their possibilities. Prijave za osmu sezonu najpopularnijeg online balkanskog kontesta poezije, Mili Dueli, završene su 1. juna 2020. godine. U periodu od 20. februara 2020. godine do 31. maja iste godine, poziv za prijave je bio otvoren. Podsjećanja radi, na konkurs su se mogli prijaviti autori poezije, bez obzira na starosnu, rasnu i etničku pripadnost. Za autore mlađe od 14 godina, neophodna je i roditeljska saradnja, odnosno dozvola. Prijave su bile otvorene na ukupno 4 linka (3 Google ankete i 1 Webanketa), a bile su prilagođene različitim jezicima (bosanski, bugarski i engleski).
Učešće na konkursu nije podrazumjevalo nikakvu novčanu naknadu, dakle, prijave su potpuno besplatne.

Tok prijavljivanja. Autori su imali 100 dana za prijavu. Već unutar 24 sata od objave konkursa su stigle 103. prijave. Peti dan od konkursa je stigla i 200. prijava. Broj prijava se iz dana u dan sve više povećavao, da bi se u zadnja dva dana konkursa, izrazito povećao. Samo u posljednja 24 sata od konkursa, stiglo je nevjerovatnih 139 prijava.

U konačnici, na Mili Dueli 2020 je stiglo ukupno 739 prijava iz 52 zemlje svijeta. To je ujedno i najveći broj prijava za jednu sezonu do sada, otkako Mili Dueli postoje.

Promocija. Promotivna kampanja za prijavu na kontest je marketinški organizovana isključivo na društvenenim mrežama organizatora i kontesta, bez novčanih ulaganja. Vijesti o konkursu su se širile putem društvenim mreža, domaćih i internacionalnih portala koji su podržali projekt.

Analiza prijava. I ove godine najveći broj prijava je stigao iz Srbije (197), a u odnosu na prethodnu godinu broj prijava se povećao za 54, što je povećanje preko 20%, na šta smo posebno ponosni, budući da Mili Dueli imaju najviše pratilaca upravo u Srbiji. Gotovo trećina (26,7%) svih prijava ove sezone dolazi upravo iz ove zemlje, što opravdava i činjenicu da je Srbija jedina zemlja koja ima više od jednog pobjednika u historiji Milih Duela.
Zanimljiv je podatak da i u najspornijem području na Balkanu, Kosovu, broj prijava se u odnosu na prethodnu sezonu povećao sa 6 na 14, što je povećanje veće od 100% i dobar pokazatelj da uprkos regionalnoj nestabilnosti, autori koji imaju kosovske putovnice se odazivaju na konkurs. Stoga, cilj projekta i jeste komunikacija između umjetnika, u cilju tolerancije postojećeg stanja, dok se ne iznađu najbolja rješenja za obje strane.

Kao i svake godine ranije, druga po broju prijava je Bosna i Hercegovina, sjedište Milih Duela. Ove godine je stigla 121 prijava iz BiH, a budući da se radi o populaciji koja ima dvostruko manje stanovnika od Srbije, popularnost projekta je ipak najintenzivnija u BiH. Broj prijava u BiH je 4 na 100 000 stanovnika. U Srbiji je stopa prijava 2,8 na 100 000 stanovnika. BiH je prošle godine imala 112 prijava.

Najveće iznenađenje ove godine, po broju prijava, svakako je Crna Gora. Za razliku od prošle godine kada je sa 44 prijave imala udio od 8,1%, sada se broj prijava uvećao za oko 80 %, i zemlja ima 76 svojih predstavnika. U velikoj mjeri se zahvaljujemo i prof. Senadi Đešević koja je svoje učenike pozvala da se prijave. U Crnoj Gori je stopa prijava čak 13 na 100 000 stanovnika.

Hrvatska je ove godine imala 4 prijave više nego prošle, a stopa prijava je 1,8 na 100 000 stanovnika.

Bugarska je ove godine sa 63 prijave, zauzela udio od 8,5% svih prijava. Za razliku od prošle godine, broj prijava je povećan za oko 10%. Ona je ove godine, kao i prošle, imala svoj jedinstven sistem prijava isključivo na bugarskom jeziku, budući da je interesovanje za prijave bilo veliko.

Sjeverna Makedonija je ove godine sa 41 prijavom, dvije manje nego prošle godine, što je u okviru naših standardnih devijacija. Stopa prijava je 2 na 100 000 stanovnika.

Ove godine, Mili Dueli bilježe najveći porast popularnosti u Albaniji, za skoro 300%, gdje je sa prošlogodišnjih 9 prijava, broj prijava ove godine 26. To nam je izuzetno važno, budući da je albanski jezik uvelio drugačiji od okolnih jezika i da je komunikacija samim tim otežana. Ipak, vjerujemo da će ove godine engleski jezik i prijevodi poezije na domaće jezike i albanski jezik, uveliko unaprijediti odnos umjetnika Albanije i regiona.

Slovenija ove godine ima čak 8 prijava, što je porast za 125 % u odnosu na prošlu godinu. Inače, popularnost Milih Duela u Sloveniji se sporije širi u odnosu na ostale zemlje bivše Jugoslavije.

Nigerija, kao najnaprednija afrička zemlja, poslala je ukupno 16 prijava na kontest. To je ujedno i rekordan broj prijava iz jedne afričke zemlje ikada, kao i velika prilika za proširivanje Mili Dueli na afrički kontinent, posebno Nigeriju, gdje engleski jezik oficijalni jezik. Pored Nigerije, po prvi put sa afričkog kontinenta, javljaju nam se pjesnici iz Angole, Ugande, Zambije, Maroka, Mozambika, Toga, Gane, Kenije, a tu je i prošlogodišnji finalista iz Svazilenda, današnje preimenovane države pod nazivom Eswatini.

Zemlja sa najvećim brojem prijava iz dijaspore je Danska, a vrijedi izdvojiti i Njemačku i Italiju, gdje broj prijava također zapažen.

Porast broja prijava je zabilježen i u Grčkoj i Rumuniji, gdje se tek očekuje širenje mreže Milih Duela. Također, prijave prijave su nam stigle i iz Rusije i Turske. Ove godine će čitava srednja Evropa (izuzev Mađarske) imati svoje predstavnike u Milim Duelima.

U Aziji, zabilježene su prve prijave iz Saudijske Arabije, Pakistana, Azerbejdžana, Malezije i Kine.

U Južnoj Americi, prijave su po prvi put stigle iz Brazila i Argentine.

PRIZNANJA I NAGRADE. Svi autori koji budu na listi za Drugi krug će dobiti priznanje za poeziju, saradnju i promicanje kulture putem digitalnih tehnologija, naravno, ukoliko uspijemo uspostaviti saradnju sa autorom koja znači kvalitetan odnos i komunikaciju. Ostale nagrade se dodjeljuju shodno razvoju takmičenja.

RIJEČ ORGANIZATORA

Dragi autori,

Prvenstveno želim da čestitam svim autorima koji su se prijavili na Mili Dueli 2020. 739 prijava! Velikih 739 prijava, bez ijedne potrošene marke na promociju kontesta. I vi ste se javili iz 52 zemlje svijeta. I vi skupa pričate bar toliko jezika. I tu smo. Poezija nas ujedinila da vjerujemo. Pogledajte ove boje koje djeluju kao šareni pravougaonici, a ustvari, svi samo gledamo da nađemo svoj, jer ima nešto magično u tim našim zemljama. Ima nešto, i veće je od razuma i ljudstva. Porijeklo. I ono ne čini pisca „nacionalnim“, već neponovljivim i antologijskim. Baš kao i zastave, svi smo slični, a svi imamo nešto što nas razlikuje od drugih. Umjesto što se radujete razlikama, radujte se sličnostima; jer uvijek je lakše kad ima još negdje… neko… i nešto. A razlike čuvajte u džepovima, pa nas zadivite, kad se osjetitite drugačijima.

Sav moj rad u Milim Duelima je i zasnovan na brojkama, povjerenja, a ne novca. Jer ima nešto što nema cijenu. Čitava organizacija, iz godine u godinu, znate i sami da nije bila laka, štaviše prezahtijevna je bila i ne može se platiti, posebno ako imate 20, 21, 22,… godine, kada je svijet tako šaren i druželjubiv prema vama. Ipak, sve ove godine, od 16. pa do 24. godine, bio sam uz vas i za vas. I nije mi žao vremena. Ko zna kakav bih doktor medicine bio, da nisam upoznao sve vas i da zbog vas nisam zavolio ljude i Balkan! Mili Dueli su zaista ponudili nešto novo u balkanskoj kulturi, u književnom pristupu naših pisaca, uopće… Po prvi put su se autori mogli prijavljivati i besplatno dobijati najkonstruktivnije kritike koje sam im mogao pružiti, zahvaljujući onima koji su odlučili da mi pomognu u ovoj misiji DA IDEMO NA BOLJE, a da po mogućnosti ne odemo od sebe. I uspjeli smo! Nije sramota ne znati, imati grešku, dvije, pet,… Sramota je patiti za onim što niste dovoljno puta pokušali urediti da bude po mjeri.

Pišite i čitajte, jer samo je knjiga teža od uma. I samo pisac stvara svjetove u njoj, svjetove koji ne umiru i ne prolaze, kao što ćemo svi mi ovdje proći.

Mi u Milim Duelima tražimo pjesnika koji je spreman zadiviti svijet, ne samo svojim pjesmama, već i pojavom, osobitošću i stavovima. Traže se hrabri ljudi čiji ciljevi i postignuća djeluju motivirajuće za sve nas koji se bavimo poezijom iz ljubavi i bezuslovno. U cijeli projekt ulazimo bez opterećenja, sretni i svjesni svojih uloga, pa tražimo i autore koji će biti takvi, svjesni ne samo svojih postignuća već i svojih mogućnosti. Trudit ćemo se da iz vas izvučemo najbolje – bit ćemo iskreni i nesujetni, pa takvi budite i vi.

U narednom periodu me očekuje evaluacija vaših pjesama. Oko 1500 pjesama me čeka. Niste ni svjesni koliko su vaše misli zanimljive, darovite i velike! Zato, ispružite svoja krila i van svojih gnijezda, jer naše nebo treba takve ptice!

JAVNI POZIV

Pozivaju se afirmisani i neafirmisani autori poezije da se prijave za učešće u osmoj sezoni Milih Duela, online balkanskog kontesta poezije. Učešće obuhvata druženje balkanskih pjesnika i pjesnika svijeta preko društvene mreže Facebook tokom mjeseca jula, avgusta i septembra, 2020. godine. Druženje je takmičarskog karaktera i već godinama okuplja nekoliko stotina autora poezije koji žele da pruže čitanost svojoj poeziji i potaknu međunarodnu saradnju književnika regiona.

USLOVI PRIJAVE

Mili Dueli su internacionalnog karaktera, te se na konkurs mogu prijaviti autori iz bilo kog dijela svijeta, bez dobnog ograničenja. Uslov za prijavu je da ste autor poezije koju šaljete na konkurs.
Napomena: Raniji učesnici Milih Duela se mogu prijaviti ponovo. Izuzetak su pobjednici prethodnih sedam sezona koji više ne mogu sudjelovati na kontestu.

NAGRADE

Glavna nagrada: Plaketa + Laureat „Mili Dueli“ („Pjesnik regiona po izboru Mili Dueli 2020. godinu“) – za osvojeno 1. mjesto
*Nagrada se uručuje sljedeće godine, tokom ljeta.

Ostale nagrade:
– Plaketa za prvih deset mjesta osvojenih u finalu kontesta
– Plaketa za najbolji plasman balkanske države (BiH, Hrvatske, Srbije, Crne Gore, Slovenije, Makedonije, Bugarske, Grčke i Albanije)
– Plaketa za najbolji plasman dijaspore (Balićevo priznanje).

Specijalno priznanje:

– Al Buqain priznanje – za osobu koja se tokom trajanja sezone ponajviše istakla u promicanju međunarodne saradnje književnika medijskim putem sukladno misiji projekta Milih Duela. Nagrada uključuje plaketu.

– Aga priznanje – specijalno priznanje u finalu, dodjeljuje se za najpregledaniji video klip autora poezije, u čast tragično stradalog finaliste Mili Dueli 2019, Nermina Aganovića. Nagrada uključuje plaketu.

Revijalno priznanje:
Svaki autor koji bude odabran za učešće u Milim Duelima, dobija elektronsko i/ili štampano (zavisno od učešća u zborniku i dolaska na promociju koji su planirani u budućnosti) Priznanje za međunarodnu saradnju, književni doprinos plasiranja pisane riječi kroz društvene mreže, te poticanje razvoja književne kritike na ovim prostorima tokom 2020. godine. Autorima s kojima ne ostvarimo saradnju, priznanje neće biti dodijeljeno.

Napomena: Ove sezone će izaći elektronski zbornik poezije autora, te književnih kritika žirija na njihova djela. O detaljima velikog štampanog zbornika učesnika Milih Duela iz ove i prethodnih sezona, izaći će naknadne informacije i poziv.

ROK ZA PRIJAVU: 31. maj 2020. godine

Organizator će, u junu/lipnju, odabrati najuspješnije prijave i polaznike “Milih Duela 2020” koji će biti obaviješteni porukom na fejsbuk profilu ukoliko prođu početnu klasifikaciju.

ŠTA SU MILI DUELI?

Mili Dueli je projekt promicanja kulture, umjetnosti i tolerancije na prostorima Balkana. Glavna značajka mu je kontest poezije balkanskih autora, autora dijaspore i stranih autora poezije. Projekt je osnovan i inspirisan idejom Nermina Delića, bosanskohercegovačkog književnika.

Kontest poezije na koji se planirate prijaviti je online karaktera. Sve pratite iz udobnosti Vašeg doma, preko društvene mreže Facebook i našeg oficijalnog website-a. Kontest je sastavljen je iz pet eliminacionih krugova. U svaki naredni krug koji prođu autori šalju novu pjesmu koju pregleda i kroz književni osvrt vrednuje ocjenom internacionalni žiri sastavljen od renomiranih balkanskih umjetnika širom regiona, te od ranijih pobjednika Milih Duela. Pored žirija, odluku o tome ko prolazi u sljedeće krugove donose i naši stalni čitaoci koji nas prate, kao i prijatelji autora. Kontest je jedinstven i po tome, jer žiri daje iscrpne komentare, smjernice i obrazloženja za svoje glasove; što ni na jednom drugom regionalnom takmičenju poezije nije tako. Stoga, ovo je odlična prilika za sve one koji žele književnu kritiku na svoje pjesme. Projekt je odlična prilika za mlade, neafirmisane autore da dođu do izražaja, ali i za afirmisane, starije autore, za potvrdu uspjeha. Žiri vrednuje isključivo pjesme koje autor pošalje na konkurs, bez uvida u ostalo stvaralaštvo autora, te je stoga važno da pošaljete Vaše najbolje pjesme.

O projektu Mili Dueli, u prethodnoj godini je pisao najpoznatiji poslovni magazin svijeta – američki Forbes, koji ga je okarakterisao kao najpopularniji kontest poezije na prostoru bivše Jugoslavije. Također, 2018. godine za esej o djelovanju kroz projekt, organizator Nermin Delić, dobio je UNESCO-vu mirovnu nagradu u Japanu, a u Bosni i Hercegovini je zbog ideje i volonterskog rada na projektu, na Izboru muškarca godine BiH, odlikovan laureatom Genije godine. Više detalja možete naći OVDJE. Organizator je 2013. godine proveo mjesec dana u SAD, na edukaciji u sklopu Programa liderstva mladih pod pokroviteljstvom američke ambasade u BiH.

Iz sedam prethodnih sezona, ovo su pobjednici Milih Duela: Dijana Stevanović Uherek (Srbija), Enea Hotić (BiH), Anđela Turukalo (Crna Gora), Ante Jezerčić (Hrvatska), Lela Zjajo (Njemačka), Stefan Lazarević (Srbija), Iryna Fingerova (Ukrajina) i Nikola Ismail (Srbija).

Kroz ovih sedam sezona prošlo je preko 2500 prijava za učešće u Milim Duelima, a nagradili smo preko 100 autora našim najvećim književnim priznanjima. Prethodne godine je utrošeno preko 700 sati volonterskog rada organizatora na projektu i preko 200 sati volonterskog rada žirija na vrednovanju poezije. Brojač posjeta website-a u toku tri ljetna mjeseca je prošle godine prešao cifru od 500 000 000, što je poseban uspjeh u eri nepopularnosti čitanja poezije.

Nema sumnje da su Mili Dueli postali prava internet senzacija za otkrivanje novih talentovanih pjesnika i za podsticanje njihovog stvaralaštva. Ovo je jedinstvena prilika za nova poznanstva sebi sličnih ljudi koji žive blizu i daleko i koji imaju isti hobi – pisanje.

Svake godine je koncept kontesta identičan, ali se pravila iz sezone u sezonu i kruga u krug smjenjuju, u cilju interakcije, interesantnosti, euforije, ali i maksimalne objektivnosti, budući da svi koji rade na projektu, besplatno volontiraju. Za kulturu, toleranciju i poeziju…

Sva kulturna udruženja širom Balkana koja bi željela sarađivati sa nama, u vidu književnih posjeta, organizacije promocija, dobrodošla su da nam se jave.

Mili Dueli 2020: Ove sedmice izlazi konkurs za pjesnike!

Naš kontest poezije je iz godine u godinu, od svog osnivanja 2012. godina pa sve do sada, stekao svojevrstan renome i prepoznatljivost po kojoj se poezija na društvenim mrežama u ljetnim mjesecima stavlja u epicentar zbivanja, a mediji i javnost saopštavanju o plasmanima naših autora.

I ove godine, osmi put zaredom, Mili Dueli će objaviti svoj konkurs. Na konkursu će svoju poeziju moći prijaviti i afirmisani i neafirmisani autori, bez obzira na spolnu i dobnu pripadnost, a poseban akcent se stavlja na internacionalnost prijavljenih, pa su sve države dobrodošle.

I ovog puta, prijave će se vrštiti online, po standardima svjetski poznatih poetskih natjecanja utvrđenim shodno modernizaciji digitalnih tehnologija.

Zahvaljujemo se unaprijed svim autorima koji se odluče prijaviti! Prijava na ovakav vid poetskog natjecanja je zaista izazovna, nova i do sada neprevaziđena u našoj regiji. Ovo je još uvijek jedino takmičenje koje na ovakvom nivou, održava se potpuno besplatno! Dakle, opstanak i širenje kontesta je svih ovih godina ovisilo isključivo o broju prijava autora, a ne od materijalnih dohodaka (participacija i ostalih vidova troškova učešća, po čemu se odlikuju većina domaćih, a gotovo i sva strana takmičenja poezije). Podsjećanja radi, broj prošlogodišnjih prijava je iznosio 545 i time je oboren dosadašnji rekord prijava.

Ove godine se očekuje još više uzbuđenja, budući da kao organizator, najavljujem euforiju već od početka kontesta shodno idejnom formatu po kojem će se ove godine održavati kontest. Više o tome će svakako biti u mjesecima koji su ispred nas!

Svi ste dobrodošli, bez obzira na sve ono što je stavilo barijeru u interkulturalnom dijalogu našeg regiona. Tu smo da pokažemo da se takve barijere mogu prevazići.
