Poem for the 4th and 5th round (Final / Grand Final): (TRANSLATION INTO MONTENEGRIN + YOUR NATIVE / ENGLISH LANGUAGE ) |
do Pijeska Okavanga, preko potoka i rijeka naših predaka
i pitaše nas ko smo
i rekli smo da smo umjetnost, mi smo umjetnost

WE ARE ART
I am a terrestrial Poeticblood from the soils of Kalahari
And poetry pours and crawl between membrane under my poetic skin
My senses roar like the lions of the Chobe Jungle
To the Sands of Okavango, across streams and the rivers of our forefathers deep
I paddled my mokoro for days longer than time for time was unknown to me
I struggled yet travelled
And walked further into the eastern winds like the wings of the African Fish Eagle
Soaring higher in metaphorical tones and tongues of my naive speech as melodies of a drizzle
Drizzling my body drenched when rain clouds gathered and thundered before the full moon
I am a poetic bounty, Lame
And my victims have cried tears of joy
When the pride of this land tracked their footprints and artworks of the rock paintings at the Ghwihaba hills
My ancestors told me to behold this mystique
That dreams of a shepherd are known to be sacred
I am a sacred stone between the stones of a mountain
I am a creative kind to find this melancholy
The anomaly that define mother nature’s blood under my own skin
And I am the vehicle of this masses to embrace my industry towards sustainable development of my people and heritage
The history and methological mystiques of the black child i am
My bold eyes fell in love with a bold heart like the golden sunset shadows of river when waves of its water exposed the fallen shadows
And they asked we are
And we said we are art, we are art

High level of unemployment leads to many instabilities among the people. Through poetry as an art, we can bridge the gap by contributing to the economy and opening up jobs through capitalizing our crafts and selling to other countries.
